An Indoor Date Spot Perfect for Couples and Kids!

Today, I'm sharing my review of Yeongdeungpo's indoor zoo, Zoorung Zoorung!
It's a fantastic date spot for summer, and kids will love the
bird feeding and doctor fish experiences!
Plus, there was no animal smell, so it was even more enjoyable than I expected!

1. Indoor Date in Seoul
After a summer vacation in Gangwon-do,
I was looking for a date spot in Seoul and discovered Zoorung Zoorung!
At first, I thought it was more for kids and felt a bit hesitant to go as an adult,
but when I actually went, I found that while there were kids,
it was also a popular date spot with lots of couples!

Especially in the hot summer, being connected to Yeongdeungpo Station (Line 1),
we could do some shopping at Times Square and then
easily visit Zoorung Zoorung, all without feeling the heat!
Plus, with 3 hours of free parking, it was super easy to bring a car, even with a stroller!ꔛ
2. Yeongdeungpo Zoorung Zoorung Prices
The regular price for Yeongdeungpo Zoorung Zoorung is ~$20.
I was sure there had to be cheaper options,
so I scoured MyRealTrip and other platforms.
You don't want to overpay for the same ticket, right?ﻭﻭ

3. Snack Feeding Experience
First, make your way to Times Square, accessible directly from Yeongdeungpo Station (Line 1).
You'll find the ticket purchase area at the entrance.
You can exchange your pre-paid QR code for a physical ticket
at the kiosk or with assistance from a staff member, and then you're ready to enter!
💡 Pre-Entry Tip
There's a snack booth right at the front,
offering separate bird snacks and animal snacks.

The bird snacks are much better than the animal snacks.
This is because if you go later in the afternoon,
the animals are often not hungry and don't eat as much.
So, I recommend just getting the bird snack set rather than both for the best experience!
From the entrance, I could hear the birds chirping, and I was so excited to go in!
Scarlet Ibis & Plovers & Call Ducks
First, I met the birds by the water.
The Scarlet Ibis, with its beautiful pink feathers, has a really long beak,
lol, so I was a little nervous when I first offered food...
But it turns out, their beaks are just long; they don't peck or
attack with them.
In fact, they pick up the food so precisely, which was absolutely fascinating!
The Call Ducks had such a cute, duck-like vibe,
their beaks were wide, and it tickled my palm as they ate the feed!
There were hand-washing stations available before and after the experience,
so it was super clean from a hygiene perspective.
Kids might be startled, so it's recommended to approach slowly
and feed them together~!
Finches & Toco Toucans
Finches are incredibly small, sparrow-like birds,
and if you gather some feed in your hand, several of them will come, eat, and fly off.
They are seriously too cute ㅠ it felt like something out of an anime.
Toco Toucans, with their royal beaks,
are exotic birds that might seem intimidating,
but if you wear arm protectors and feed them, they're not scary at all.
The Toco Toucans' golden beaks were so fascinating.
They were birds I hadn't seen anywhere else, which made them even more amazing.
4. Animal Sightseeing
Besides these, there were various other animals like guinea pigs, fennec foxes, and capybaras,
but what the kids especially loved were the capybaras!
All the cute critters I'd seen at Everland
were all here at Zoorung Zoorung, so I realized there's no need to go all the way to Everland in the heat ㅎㅎㅎ.
Finally, once you've seen the doctor fish nibbling away dead skin cells,
you've completed your Zoorung Zoorung journey~!
It's a special experience for kids, and a unique date spot for couples.
For ~$14, this much experience is seriously incredible value for money ദ്ദി,,-`_´-)੭.

Zoorung Zoorung Yeongdeungpo is an indoor animal theme park, but
it hardly smells and offers enjoyable feeding experiences,
making it a recommended unique date spot!
Instead of animal treats, I recommend choosing bird treats
and having fun feeding the birds ~~!
