2. 2026 Yuseong Jazz & Beer Festa Location & Parking |
📍 Yurim Park
27 Eoeun-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon
The Yuseong Jazz & Beer Festa
is held at Yurim Park in Yuseong-gu.
The park is divided into East and West sections,
and the main stage is located in the East Plaza.

✔️ Yuseong-gu Office Parking Lot
✔️ Hasang Riverside Parking Lot
✔️ Alleys around Yuseong-gu Office
Based on last year's experience,
parking was incredibly difficult, with lots already full by the afternoon.
Rather than waiting a long time to park close by,
if you plan to enjoy some beer,
I recommend using public transportation.
Around 5 PM,
the area around the start of the event gets quite crowded.
It's a good idea to arrive before the event starts
to leisurely explore the venue,
check out the food options,
and find a good spot.

3. 2026 Yuseong Jazz & Beer Festa 3-Day Lineup – Which Day is Best to Go? |

For me, at this festival,
the jazz performances are just as anticipated as the beer!
This year, they're expanding the main stage
and adding large LED screens, I hear.
In the past, when it got crowded,
it was sometimes hard to see the stage from the back.
But this year, I'm hoping it'll be easier and more comfortable to enjoy the performances.

✅ Performance Lineup
August 28th Friday | August 29th Saturday | August 30th Sunday |
19:00 Yuseong Jazz Band | 19:00 Oldie But Goodie | 19:00 Jass Musikus |
19:40 Zip4 | 19:40 Maria Kim | 19:40 Kuiloh Trio X Yoon Deok-hyun |

21:00 Woongsan | 21:00 Youn Sun Nah | 21:00 Han Sangwon Band |
22:00~ Drone Light Show | Drone Light Show after performances |
Drone Light Show: Fri, Aug 28 / Sat, Aug 29

If you want to catch the Drone Light Show,
choose Friday or Saturday.
If you want to see the Malo Band and Han Sangwon Band performances,
then Sunday is your day.

On the West Side Sub-Stage,
a variety of performances will continue,
featuring artists like Chaeon, Han Chanyoung Jazz Project, Daydream,
Dalpaengi Quintet, and Kim Wonki Jazz Choir.
And there's even a Jazz & Beer Salon!
It runs daily from August 28-30, starting at 5 PM,
with a first-come, first-served limit of 15 people per session.
The participation fee is ~$7.
You can enjoy jazz stories, open beer, snacks, and even keyring making!
4. 2026 Yuseong Jazz & Beer Festa: Where to Settle In? I tried "gwang-klik" (rapid clicking) to book a cabana, but failed, boohoo ㅠㅠ |
On the East Plaza lawn,
you'll find a picnic mat zone in front of the stage,
a standing table zone behind it,
and a premium suite cabana zone on the sides.

Since the seating arrangements are slightly different,
you can choose your spot based on how you want to enjoy the festival.
If you want to enjoy the performance up close
→ Front area
If you want to enjoy food and a picnic atmosphere
→ Back area
If you succeeded in booking
→ Side Cabana Zone
The front area is close to the stage, but it gets crowded,
making it hard to move around.
It's a good idea to buy your food and beer beforehand,
before the crowds gather!
Last year,
I decided to settle in the back grass plaza,
planning to go back and forth for food truck treats.
Last year, even though it was a standing table zone,
many people were spreading out their picnic mats here
because the dedicated picnic mat zone wasn't enough.

The back area is great for relaxing, eating, and
soaking in the festival atmosphere, rather than trying to see the stage in detail.
The music still comes through perfectly, even from the back! Haha.
They say a large LED screen will be added this year,
so even if you settle in the back, you'll be all set.

Especially, the part I want to emphasize most
before you visit the Yuseong Jazz & Beer Festa!
Camping chairs ❌ Tables ❌
Picnic mats ✅ Low-back chairs ✅
Camping chairs and tables are not allowed;
only picnic mats and low-back chairs are permitted.
Please make sure to abide by this rule.

Last year, I noticed
some people brought camping chairs and tables to use.
If chairs are set up in the front,
those sitting on mats behind them
can't properly see the stage.
The blocked view made it quite uncomfortable.
While it might be comfortable for them,
it's not right to obstruct others' enjoyment of the performance, is it?

That said, if you only bring a mat,
your back can get pretty sore after sitting for several hours.ㅠㅠ
So, I recommend bringing a low-backed, floor-style picnic chair.
I looked for one to bring this time,
and since it's for a festival, a product that's easy to fold and carry is better
than something big and heavy.
A low ground chair like this,
which you can use on top of your mat, seems perfect.
⬇️ Here's the floor-style picnic chair I found ⬇️

I tried super hard to book a cabana, but I failedㅠㅠ
If you want to enjoy it even more comfortably,
there's also the Premium Suite Cabana Zone.
There are 16 cabanas in total:
8 with twin chairs and 8 with floor platforms, all available for a fee.
During the pre-booking on the 21st,
I also tried my best to book right at opening time.
The result? Failure...ㅠㅠ
I'm so envious of those who managed to snag one. ㅜㅜ
Even though I missed out on the cabana zone, I hear the picnic zone is expanding this year,
so I'm planning to head out with my mat again!
5. 2026 Yuseong Jazz & Beer Festa What Beer to Enjoy While Listening to Jazz? |

Where there's jazz,
there's got to be beer!
This year, 12 craft beer breweries, selected through a nationwide open call, will participate,
allowing you to taste a wide variety of craft beers
all in one place.

From lagers to wheat beers, pale ales, and stouts,
there's such a diverse range that you'll have fun choosing one to match your taste.
Last year, most beers were priced
between ~$3 and ~$7.

There will also be plenty of food to enjoy with your beer!
A variety of menus like pizza, chicken, fries, and ice cream will be available,
and a QR code ordering system is being introduced for easy ordering & pickup.
Plus, eco-friendly reusable containers will be used.

Is it worth going even if you don't drink beer?
Absolutely! Even though I'm not a big drinker myself, I still had a fantastic time.
The kids loved it too!
The jazz performances themselves
and the whole summer evening vibe were just perfect.
Plus, on Fridays and Saturdays,
you can even catch a mesmerizing drone light show!
✔️ If you're looking to purchase beer:
You'll need to show ID for age verification
at the event entrance and wear an authentication wristband.
Don't forget your ID!
