Yongsan Station is a major transportation hub in Seoul, and as such, it's equipped with a good number of luggage lockers. However, its sheer size can make finding them a bit tricky for first-time visitors.
Don't worry, I'm here to guide you! This post will cover the exact locations of Yongsan Station's luggage lockers, along with their prices, rental times, and sizes.
01 Yongsan Station Luggage Locker Locations
You can primarily find luggage lockers in three main areas at Yongsan Station, all conveniently located near the boarding gates for KTX, Saemaul-ho, and other trains.

The train boarding area at Yongsan Station is divided into two sections, depending on your train car number. If you're entering from the main Yongsan Station plaza, it's usually easier to head to the:
Right side for train cars 1-10
Left side for train cars 11-18

The left side is near Exit 2! This area typically has the most luggage lockers, meaning you'll have the best chance of finding an available one here.

On your way to the right-side boarding area, you'll also find about 50 lockers, which usually offers plenty of space.

Even during a busy holiday morning, like Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), I found plenty of empty lockers, so you should be fine even on weekends!

However, if you've just arrived from an international trip or are carrying exceptionally large luggage, you know how heavy those suitcases can get!

Before heading into the right-side boarding area, go up to the 4th floor. You'll find a dedicated luggage storage area for extra-large suitcases only.

If the lockers on the lower floors are full, or if you have a massive suitcase, this is a great alternative!

02 Locker Prices & Rental Times
The standard rental period for Yongsan Station luggage lockers is 2 hours.
After the initial 2 hours, an additional fee is charged per hour. This extra charge varies depending on the size of the locker you're using.

Price | S (Small) | M (Medium) | L (Large) | XL (Extra Large) |
2-hour base rate | ~$1 | ~$1 | ~$1 | ~$2 |
After 2 hours (per hour) | +~$0 | +~$0 | +~$0 | +~$0 |
After 12 hours (every 12 hours) | +~$1 | +~$1 | +~$1 | +~$2 |
For a small locker, the 2-hour base rate is ~$1, medium is ~$1, large is ~$1, and extra-large is ~$2.

Even if you go over the 2-hour limit, the fees increase incrementally by the hour. So, if you're just exploring the area around Yongsan Station for a bit or need to store your bags until your train departs, the cost is quite reasonable.

03 Important Usage Notes
Once you open the locker door, refunds are not possible.
So, make sure to double-check the size of your belongings and choose the appropriate locker before confirming!
Also, be careful to close the door tightly after placing your items inside.
Items left for more than 7 days will be collected by the operating company (a transfer fee of ~~$1 will be charged separately), and items left for over 30 days will be disposed of.

If you encounter any issues while using the luggage lockers, you can contact customer service:

As with any public storage, it's always best not to store cash or valuables that would be problematic if lost.
