How to Maximize Your 4-Day, 3-Night Xi'an, China Adventure?
📚4-Day, 3-Night Xi'an, China Private Package Itinerary
Day 1: Xianyang Airport → De Fa Chang (Lunch) → Xi'an City Wall → Xi'an Museum & Small Wild Goose Pagoda → Muslim Quarter → Hotel

📍 Xi'an Xianyang International Airport
CQP4+RWW, Weicheng District, Xianyang City, Shaanxi, China
Upon arriving at Xi'an Xianyang Airport, our dedicated private vehicle, ready to whisk us away for our entire 4-day, 3-night journey, was already waiting. This made for an incredibly smooth and comfortable start to our Xi'an adventure.

Our first stop was De Fa Chang, renowned as a Xi'an culinary gem. We savored a lavish Dumpling Feast, indulging in a delightful array of dumplings, each filled with diverse ingredients and uniquely shaped. It was the perfect hearty start to our true Xi'an exploration!

📍 Xi'an City Wall
Xincheng District, Xi'an City, China Postal Code: 710003
📍 Xi'an Museum
72 You Yi Xi Lu, Beilin District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China 710064
📍 Small Wild Goose Pagoda
72 You Yi Xi Lu, Beilin District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China 710064
Our next destinations included the Xi'an City Wall, an absolute must-see for any visit to Xi'an, along with the Xi'an Museum and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. While I've always loved world history, my detailed knowledge was a bit lacking, which made me wonder, "Will I truly appreciate my Xi'an journey?" But having our guide with us was incredible! They expertly highlighted exactly what to focus on and where to look at each site, making everything come alive.

📍 Xi'an Muslim Dasi Residential Quarter
90 Bei Guang Ji Jie, Zhonglou Commercial District, Lianhu District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China 710008
The grand finale of our first day was the Muslim Quarter! Also known as Huimin Street, this vibrant area is not only fantastic for soaking in the lively streetscapes, but if you're serious about food? Or passionate about shopping? You'll find it incredibly satisfying! We also had the pleasure of sampling unique dishes from Shaanxi Province, where Xi'an is located, making it a truly delightful time!
Day 2:
Hotel → Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang + Underground Palace → Terracotta Army → Huaqing Palace → Silk Road Show → Xingshan Temple → Dinner (Peking Duck) → North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda + Fountain Show → Grand Tang Everbright City (Night View) → Hotel

📍 Underground Palace of the Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum
136 Qin Ling Bei Lu, Lintong District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, China 710699
📍 Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor
Lintong District, Xi'an City, China Postal Code: 710608
You know how incredibly vast the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang is, right? When exploring the mausoleum, you often traverse the tomb area by electric cart. But aren't you curious what the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang truly looks like when viewed comprehensively? If you opt for a Xi'an package, you can explore not only the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang but also the Underground Palace, located about a 15-minute drive away! You might wonder if it's truly essential, but since it presents both the overall layout of Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum and a fascinating recreation of the underground palace, I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing them together.

📍 Terracotta Army
Lintong District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi, China Postal Code: 710612
After exploring the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, our next stop was to marvel at the Terracotta Army.
Pits 1, 2, and 3 each have their own unique characteristics, and exploring them with our guide
and listening to their explanations really helped me grasp the full story of the Terracotta Army.

After ticking off some major Xi'an bucket list items thanks to this package,
it was already time for lunch!
So, off we went for lunch, and guess what was on the menu?
Biangbiang Noodles, a representative local dish of Shaanxi Province – incredible!
The wide, belt-like noodles were so impressive, and the flavor was absolutely delicious!👍🏻

📍 Huaqingchi
38 Hua Qing Lu, Lin Tong Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710699
Next up was Huaqingchi, the legendary resort hot spring that Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty built for his beloved concubine, Yang Guifei.
It was the kind of place that just made me wish I could live a life as luxurious as Yang Guifei's!

We also caught the Silk Road Show, and let me tell you, the sheer scale of it was absolutely breathtaking – a definite must-see!
You often hear that seeing a grand performance is a highlight of any trip to China,
and this package didn't disappoint, booking us VVIP seats!
We had fantastic seats and enjoyed every moment.

Xingjiao Temple was actually scheduled for the day after our Mount Hua climb.
As someone who isn't exactly athletic, I worried that doing the Mount Hua climb and then Xingjiao Temple right after
would be too exhausting, so I asked if we could change the schedule,
and our guide happily rearranged it for us.
If this had been a group tour with lots of people, rescheduling would have been an impossible dream,
but since it was a private package, being able to adjust the itinerary amongst ourselves
was a huge advantage!

For dinner, we indulged in two dishes that are absolute must-tries when you visit China:
Peking Duck and Dongpo Pork.
The Peking Duck had incredibly crispy skin and unbelievably tender meat,
and the Dongpo Pork, with its flavorful and succulent sauce, just melted in my mouth.
Our second day's dinner was absolutely perfect.

After dinner, we headed to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a significant relic from the Tang Dynasty,
and witnessed its spectacular fountain show.
The combination of the majestic Pagoda and the dazzling fountain show was truly a grand spectacle that will stay etched in my memory.

Once the fountain show wrapped up, we took a leisurely stroll over to Grand Tang Everbright City.
The walk from the fountain show to Grand Tang Everbright City was lovely in itself,
and while Grand Tang Everbright City is renowned for its Tang Dynasty-themed night views,
seeing it in person immediately made me understand why it's considered *the* spot for incredible nightscapes!
Beyond the stunning lights, there were also plenty of souvenirs and delicious street food on offer,
making it the perfect place to stroll around slowly and soak in Xi'an's vibrant nightlife.
Day.3 Mount Hua (West Peak IN, North Peak OUT) → Full Body Massage → Dinner (Lamb Skewers) → Hotel

When you hear about China's Five Great Mountains (Wu Yue), names like
Mount Tai, Mount Hua, Mount Heng, Mount Heng, and Mount Song immediately spring to mind, right?
And on a trip to Xi'an, you get to experience Mount Hua, one of these magnificent peaks.
Taking the cable car up, we witnessed the majestic mountain landscape,
and walking amidst the cloud-kissed peaks left me in constant awe.
It was so inspiring that I'm already dreaming of bringing my parents back to Xi'an for another visit.

After the Mount Hua climb, we melted away our fatigue with a rejuvenating full-body massage, conveniently included in our package.

Then, we indulged in a delicious dinner at a lamb skewer restaurant renowned as a local favorite,
where we feasted on succulent lamb skewers and a variety of other dishes until we were completely satisfied.
To top it off, we enjoyed what's considered a must-try dessert when visiting China:
Cha Ji milk tea, bringing our third day to a wonderful close.
Day.4 Forest of Steles Museum → Airport

On the last day, before heading to the airport, I stopped by the Forest of Stone Tablets Museum,
where I saw steles carved with the calligraphy of master scribes,
and admired magnificent ancient stone artifacts.
It was a fulfilling way to enjoy the trip right up until the day I returned home.
🏠 What was the accommodation like for the private package tour in Xi'an, China?

Since this Xi'an package was booked at a 5-star hotel,
I could comfortably rest after a full day of exploring.

And the breakfast was incredibly good, so I made sure to eat every morning,
which helped me power through my Xi'an adventures.

✈️ My Review of a No-Shopping, No-Optional-Tours Xi'an Trip
The travel agency product I used was Onlytour's
"Xi'an: City of Immortal History, 4 Days/3 Nights" package.
The biggest advantage I felt after returning was
that it was a no-shopping, no-optional-tours, no-tips package.
Many people are visiting China these days with its visa-free policy, right?
However, sometimes packages advertised as 'no-shopping' end up having
many instances where shopping or optional tours are subtly encouraged.
But with this one, after experiencing it myself, there really wasn't any of that.
Thanks to that, I could truly enjoy my Xi'an trip with peace of mind.
If you're considering a 4-day/3-night Xi'an package,
I highly recommend Onlytour's Xi'an package.
