Hello everyone! It's Ciel, your travel influencer, here-!
Today, I want to dive into the
3-night, 4-day Xi'an itinerary in China – a fantastic package trip perfect for a quick getaway using your annual leave.
I'll also be sharing my glowing review of the Xi'an package tour I experienced!

🇨🇳Why I Recommend a Package Tour to Xi'an (西安), China
▪️Many famous attractions in Xi'an, China, are quite a distance from the city center. If you travel independently, you might spend a lot of time on transportation. A package tour offers comfortable and fast travel with a dedicated vehicle.
▪️In China, many attractions require advance booking for entry. With a Xi'an package tour, your guide handles all the arrangements seamlessly.
▪️If you opt for a private Xi'an package, even with a set itinerary, you can flexibly adjust your schedule since it's just your group traveling.

☀️Xi'an (西安), China Weather in October
When you travel, isn't the weather super important?
They say October in Xi'an isn't as hot as summer and enjoys relatively cool weather, making it ideal for travel.
If you're planning to climb Mount Hua, it would be wise to prepare an outer layer, considering the temperature difference between Xi'an city and the mountain.
How to make the most of your 3-night, 4-day Xi'an adventure in China?
📚3-Night, 4-Day Private Package Itinerary for Xi'an, China
Day 1: Xi'an Airport → De Fa Chang Dumpling Banquet (Lunch) → Xi'an City Wall → Xi'an Museum & Small Wild Goose Pagoda → Muslim Quarter → Hotel

After traveling from Xi'an Xianyang Airport by private vehicle,
the very first dish we savored was handmade dumplings.
Shanxi Province, where Xi'an is located, is famous for its wheat cultivation,
making it a region renowned for diverse flour-based dishes like noodles and dumplings.
Among these, Xi'an's dumplings are distinctive for their wide range of ingredients and
creative shapes.
Experiencing a "Jiaozi Banquet", where you can enjoy numerous types of dumplings served like a course meal,
allowed us to taste such a variety of Xi'an's dumpling dishes and truly
kickstart our Xi'an journey the right way!

📍 Xi'an City Wall
Xincheng District, Xi'an City, China Postal Code: 710003
After a hearty lunch, our next destination was the Xi'an City Wall.
Climbing the Xi'an City Wall and gazing down at the city is captivating,
and it's also famous for cycling and 'wanghong' (influencer) experiences.
However, what we absolutely shouldn't miss at the Xi'an City Wall is
exploring the history of the wall at "Chang'an Chengjian".
If it weren't for our guide, I probably would have just taken photos with the wall,
which made me realize how fortunate I was to have come on a Xi'an package tour.

📍 Xi'an Museum
72 You Yi Xi Lu, Bei Lin Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710064
📍 Small Wild Goose Pagoda
72 You Yi Xi Lu, Bei Lin Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710064
After that, we explored Xi'an's history and culture at
the Xi'an Museum and the adjacent Small Wild Goose Pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty.

📍 Xi'an Muslim Dasi Residential Quarter
90 Bei Guang Ji Jie, 钟楼商圈 Lian Hu Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710008
Our last stop for the first day was the Muslim Quarter,
a vibrant street filled with
an incredible variety of easy-to-eat snacks.
We also saw many treats that are considered must-tries in Xi'an,
and I tried the pomegranate juice included in our package.
It was refreshingly sweet and delicious – I was thoroughly satisfied.
Day 2
Hotel → Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang + Underground Palace Exhibition Hall → Terracotta Army → Huaqing Pool → Silk Road Show → Xingjiao Temple → Dinner (Peking Duck) → North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda + Fountain Show → Grand Tang Mall (Night View) → Hotel

📍 Underground Palace of the Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum
136 Qin Ling Bei Lu, Lin Tong Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710699
Day two was finally here – the day I'd visit the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang and
the Terracotta Army, both on my bucket list!
First, we went to the Underground Palace Exhibition Hall of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum.
Here, we got an overview of the entire Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang,
and even the unexcavated underground palace of Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum
was recreated based on speculation, making it quite fascinating to explore.

📍 Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor
Lintong District, Xi'an City, China Postal Code: 710608
After visiting the underground palace exhibition, we took an electric cart
to explore the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang itself.

📍 Terracotta Army
Lintong District, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. Postal Code: 710612
Next up was the highlight of this trip, the one I'd been most excited about:
visiting the **Terracotta Army**!
Exploring the unique characteristics of Pits 1 to 3
with our guide made it a much more meaningful experience.

After marveling at the Terracotta Army, it was time for lunch,
and we decided to try the **Biangbiang Noodles, a must-eat when you visit Xi'an**.
The noodles were uniquely wide and absolutely delicious!

📍 华清池 (Huaqing Pool)
38 Hua Qing Lu, Lintong District, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China 710699
We also visited the opulent **Huaqing Pool, Yang Guifei's luxurious spa resort**, a place that truly shows
just how deeply Emperor Xuanzong of Tang loved Yang Guifei. It was beyond imagination!

The show itself was massive in scale and incredibly dynamic,
and the moving audience seats made it a truly fascinating experience!
Our package had booked us VVIP seats,
which really brought some scenes to life because they were **VVIP seats**,
making the **show** even more enjoyable.

📍 Daxingshan Temple
55 Xing Shan Si Xi Jie, Yan Ta Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710064
Our next destination was **Daxingshan Temple**, which was originally
scheduled for the following day.
However, since we had a mountain hike planned for tomorrow, we thought a packed schedule might be too tiring,
so we adjusted our schedule and visited it today!
It was wonderful to have the flexibility to change our schedule like this,
thanks to our private package.

For dinner, we indulged in **Peking Duck**, the quintessential Chinese dish that comes to mind for many!

Afterward, we headed straight to catch the fountain show.
The combination of the **Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a prominent relic from the Tang Dynasty,**
and the **spectacular fountain show created an absolutely magnificent spectacle**!
I highly **recommend this as a must-visit spot when you travel to Xi'an**.

After the fountain show, we took a walk to **Grand Tang Everbright City**.
Just as its name suggests, **'the city that never sleeps at night,'**
the Tang Dynasty-style buildings glowed with dazzling lights.
It was easy to see why it's known as a **famous nightscape spot**!
Day.3
Mount Hua (West Peak IN, North Peak OUT)→Full Body Massage→Dinner (Lamb Skewers)→Hotel

Day three brought an unexpected delight on our Xi'an journey.
It was an unexpected highlight, so much so that I'd love to bring my parents back to Xi'an just for this experience!
This was the **Mount Hua hike** day, and the views from the cable car were stunning,
and the scenery while walking was equally breathtaking!
At first, I thought, 'Hiking all the way in China? Really?!'
but there's definitely a reason it's included in the Xi'an package itinerary.

After the hike, my eyes were happy,
but my legs, having worked hard for the first time in a while, felt the fatigue setting in.
Luckily, the schedule after our Mount Hua ascent was a **massage**,
allowing us to fully recover from the day's exertion – it was perfect!

For dinner, we visited a local favorite for **lamb skewers**,
and they brought us a generous spread of other dishes too!
We ended the day feeling full and happy.
Day.4 Stele Forest Museum→Airport

📍 西安碑林 (Xi'an Stele Forest)
15 San Xue Jie, Bei Lin Qu, Xi An Shi, Shan Xi Sheng, China 710001
Our last day's itinerary was a visit to the Stele Forest Museum before heading to the airport.
The **Stele Forest Museum** is literally named 'the place where steles form a forest',
and true to its name, we saw **steles inscribed with the calligraphy of renowned masters like Wang Xizhi**.
It was incredibly meaningful to witness these historical treasures.
Beyond the steles, we also admired **ancient stone carvings**.
Personally, I found the stone sculptures particularly impressive,
making it a place I'd love to revisit.
It was a fantastic way to enjoy a rich and fulfilling trip right up to the very end!
🏠 Xi'an, China: Package Tour vs. Free & Easy Travel - Which is Better for Your Adventure?

Xi'an, China, was a destination brimming with sights I yearned to see.
Even the Terracotta Army, which was at the top of my must-visit list,
is quite a distance from Xi'an city center.
If you visit on a free and easy trip, you'd spend a fair bit of time just on transportation.
But with a private package tour, I had a dedicated vehicle,
allowing for comfortable and pleasant travel, and reducing transit time meant I could spend more precious moments at each amazing site.
What's more, Mount Huashan, which I highly recommend,
is also quite a journey from the city center.
For a trip to Xi'an, where there are so many places you'll want to explore,
minimizing the time and hassle spent on transportation is key.
That's why, personally, I felt that for Xi'an, rather than a free and easy trip,
a package tour seemed like the better choice.

✈️My Review of the Private Package Tour to Xi'an, China
The tour package I chose was from Only Tour in the World (세상에 없는여행),
and after experiencing their "Immortal City Xi'an, Where History Breathes Alive: 3-Night, 4-Day" Xi'an package,
I loved that it was a no-shopping, no-optional tours, no-tipping experience.
When you read reviews for China package tours, don't you often see complaints about forced shopping?
But with Only Tour in the World's Xi'an package,
there was absolutely zero shopping pressure!
Beyond the fantastic and well-packed itinerary, what made it great was that
if you're worried about shopping pressure,
then Only Tour in the World's Xi'an package is for you!
Don't hesitate, go enjoy a wonderful trip to Xi'an! ‼️
