03. Deluxe River View Stay Review

To start with the conclusion,
I'm **200% sure I'd revisit** –
the room and bathroom conditions were both thoroughly satisfying.

The interior, immaculately designed in white tones,
gave a strong impression of cleanliness from the moment I stepped in.
And the bedding was so plush that as soon as I lay down,
I felt all my accumulated travel fatigue melt away!

But what's the real charm of a hotel room? **It's definitely the Han River view!**
Deluxe rooms offer both mountain views and Han River views,
but for a staycation, I tend to choose the Han River view whenever possible.

After the sun sets, when you open the curtains,
the lights stretching along the Han River and the city nightscape
spread across the panoramic window, and you also get to see
the sun rising through the curtains.
The fact that you **can see both the night view and the sunrise from one room**
I think, is the biggest charm of a river view.
Plus, Vista Walkerhill is located on a hill,
so the view of the Han River from the room is spectacular!

Amenities include **L'Occitane products**,
but you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
While they are available for purchase, it's better to bring your own!

The bathtub and toilet are separated,
and since the bathtub is clearly visible through the room's glass partition,
don't be alarmed (?), just pull down the blinds.

The room is equipped with an Illy coffee machine, a kettle, a refrigerator,
and wine glasses/water glasses, among other things.
If you request it at the front desk, they'll also bring you ice,
so feel free to contact the front desk if needed!

Here's a tip:
**Walkerhill has a walking trail behind the hotel.**
Even if you only stay at Vista Walkerhill, you don't need to go far;
you can enjoy a healing staycation by taking a walk through the forest path.

Also, there's a **free shuttle bus operating between Gwangnaru Station and Gangbyeon Station.**
So even those who come without a car, relying on public transport,
can comfortably travel to and from the hotel by taking the bus from Gwangnaru Station or Gangbyeon Station.
🚎 Route: Gwangnaru Station → Hyundai Apt. Complex 6 → Gangbyeon Station → Gwangnaru Station → Vista Hall → Hotel Main Building ⏰ Operating Hours: (First bus) 6:00 AM, (Last bus) 11:30 PM 💰 Fare: Free 📍 Bus Stop Locations: (Gangbyeon Station) Subway Line 2 Gangbyeon Station Exit 1 → In front of Guui Park (Gwangnaru Station) Subway Line 5 Gwangnaru Station Exit 2 → Next to Gwangjin Youth Center Bus Stop |
04. The Buffet Breakfast Review

For breakfast, you can head to The Buffet on the 1st floor.
First off, the buffet atmosphere is wonderfully exotic,
and you can enjoy stunning Han River views through the floor-to-ceiling windows!

As expected, the popular window seats
require you to get there right when they open to snag one.
But honestly, since one entire side of The Buffet is floor-to-ceiling glass,
you'll still get a fantastic view no matter where you sit.

With a wide variety of menu options,
you can pick and choose whatever suits your taste.
Plus, once you enter, you can order coffee/drinks
from the bar-like area on your left.

Personally, even if I weren't staying at the hotel,
I'd seriously consider coming here just for the meal.
The food was universally clean and incredibly satisfying!

Just a heads-up, on weekends and public holidays, guests tend to flock in,
so the restaurant operates on a two-session system.
It's good to keep that in mind before your visit.
📌 So, what's the gist?
✅ Vista Walkerhill has a more casual and trendy vibe than Grand Walkerhill.
✅ For a "Hocance" (hotel vacation) with your partner or friends, Vista Walkerhill is highly recommended.
✅ Offers plush bedding and L'Occitane amenities.
✅ The Buffet breakfast offers an exotic atmosphere and impeccably clean menu options.
