Experience the breathtaking views of Jeju Island on horseback or an ATV at View Jeju Sky. A fantastic family adventure, especially convenient with the Jeju Tour Pass!
Hey there, fellow adventurers!
On our recent family trip to Jeju Island, we had an incredible horseback riding experience at a spot called View Jeju Sky, and I can't wait to tell you all about it!
Funnily enough, this was our second horseback riding adventure during that Jeju trip. While we took photos at both, I wasn't planning on buying an actual photo frame from either place.
But then we saw the photos from View Jeju Sky, and it was an instant "yes!" The views were absolutely stunning, making the purchase irresistible.
Let me show you why!

View Jeju Sky, where you can enjoy an amazing horseback riding adventure, is conveniently located on the eastern side of Jeju Island, specifically in the Seongsan area.
Since our accommodation was on the west side, we decided to dedicate our last day to exploring all the fantastic attractions in the east. It turned out to be a brilliant plan!
Using our Jeju Tour Pass, we visited several East Jeju destinations, including the Taekwondo Martial Arts Hon, Camel Trekking, and, of course, View Jeju Sky. They're all pretty close to each other, making it easy to hop from one to the next. (Though not on the Tour Pass, Snoopy Garden is also nearby if you have extra time!)

At View Jeju Sky, you can also try out an ATV experience in addition to horseback riding! I think the ATVs would be a blast once the kids are a bit older. Haha!

They have a spacious parking lot, so you can park with ease and head straight into the main building.

View Jeju Sky Activity Fees

The Jeju Tour Pass grants you access to the Track Course for horseback riding. It's a bit on the shorter side, but still a fantastic experience!
If you're looking for something a bit longer and more scenic, you can pay an additional fee to upgrade to the Walk Course, which even takes you up an 'oreum' (a small volcanic cone) for breathtaking views.
For our visit, we opted for the shorter Track Course.

A heads-up for riders: there's a weight limit of 187 pounds (85 kg). My husband even had to step on the scale before he could ride!

After getting our helmets from the friendly staff, it was time to head outside for the horseback riding adventure!
I happened to be wearing a dress that day, but they kindly provided a pair of pants to wear underneath, which was super thoughtful. Of course, wearing pants from the start would probably be the most comfortable option, haha!

Here are some of the horses taking a well-deserved break. I've done horseback riding a few times, and I must say, the horses at View Jeju Sky seemed to be in the best condition. They clearly take excellent care of their animals!

My son, who absolutely adores animals, was practically already on horseback in his mind, just brimming with excitement for the experience! LOL!

We pushed open the gate and hopped onto our horses!

Each of the kids got their own horse, and all four of us rode together as a group. The views along the track course were absolutely incredible, truly living up to the name "View Jeju Sky"!
We weren't allowed to use our phones or cameras while riding, which meant I couldn't capture any photos or videos during the experience. But honestly, I think that actually made us enjoy the beautiful sky and the ride even more fully, without any distractions.
The ride was quite short, lasting about 10 minutes, but we even got to do a little trot at the end of the track course. It was an absolutely delightful horseback riding experience!
Looking back, I almost wish we had paid the extra fee to go up the 'oreum' for an even longer, more scenic ride.

After our horseback riding experience, we got to participate in a horse feeding activity! A bucket of treats cost ~$2.

It was such a joy to feed the horses and even get a chance to pet them! Seeing the kids' faces light up with excitement – that's what family travel is all about, right? ❤️

And finally, the staff took a lovely family photo of us! I swear this picture looks just like one my parents have from their travels, haha!
Usually, either my husband or I are behind the camera, so we rarely get a good family shot with all four of us. Seeing such a beautifully captured moment, I simply couldn't resist buying it!

The photo frames come in various prices, and I chose the one for ~$24. What's fantastic is that when you purchase a frame at View Jeju Sky, they also send you the original digital photo files! Talk about great value! We were absolutely thrilled! ❤️
If you're looking for a unique and memorable experience during your Jeju Island trip, whether it's horseback riding or an ATV adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend View Jeju Sky!
And if you're already using the Jeju Tour Pass, it's an absolute must-visit!
