Aewol The Sunset Resort Jeju Review 2026: Private Pool & Spa

During my recent getaway to Jeju Island, I stayed at an incredible private pool villa in Aewol.

The location in Aewol is absolutely perfect, and having our own private pool meant we could enjoy a quiet, exclusive retreat just for us.

If you are looking for a highly private and romantic escape in Jeju, this is the place to be.

Every single room at Aewol The Sunset Resort offers an unobstructed, breathtaking ocean view.

On one side of the room, you'll find a cozy bed, a comfortable sofa, and a sleek vanity area.

The other side features a neat kitchenette and a gorgeous indoor spa tub.

Because of the floor-to-ceiling ocean views, you can soak in the warm spa while watching the waves crash outside—it is pure bliss.

We spent our afternoon swimming in the private rooftop pool upstairs, and then came down to warm up and unwind in this cozy spa.

The bathroom is also incredibly spacious and clean, making our stay super comfortable.

Private Rooftop Infinity Pool

If you take the stairs up from the room, you will find your exclusive rooftop pool.

Since this pool is completely private, you can easily change in your room and head straight up to swim.

Swimming with a panoramic view of the Jeju ocean was absolutely magical.

There is also an outdoor dining table on the rooftop deck, which is perfect for enjoying a late-night snack in the cool evening breeze.

A Delicious Floating Breakfast Experience

You can request a floating breakfast plate in advance, and I highly recommend doing so!

The resort actually operates the highly-rated Aewol The Sunset Cafe on the ground floor.

Their cafe menu is famous for being incredibly delicious—especially the brunch options and the fluffy omelet. You must try them!

Since the floating plate is freshly prepared by the cafe downstairs, the food tastes absolutely amazing.

We also rented a fun pool float and had a blast taking photos. Just look at that spectacular ocean view!

When comparing booking sites for the exact same dates, I noticed a price difference of over $32!
