Conan Beach, also known as Haengwon Beach, is a small but renowned spot for snorkeling, nestled in Gujwa-eup on the eastern side of Jeju Island.

The water here is truly a sight to behold, sparkling with an incredible emerald transparency that makes it absolutely stunning. Just gazing at it is pure bliss!

Its proximity to Woljeong-ri makes it a fantastic stop on a scenic drive. The coastal road that passes by popular spots like Camel Coffee and Abebe Bikila Bakery continues to this breathtaking stretch of ocean. It’s truly amazing!

It's a peaceful beach where you can truly relax away from the crowds.
When I visited, it was wonderfully quiet, making it ideal for taking photos. While the waves are gentle, there are plenty of fish to see, and it becomes a popular spot for snorkeling during the summer months.
Just bringing a mat and gazing out at Haengwon Beach was a wonderfully healing experience.
It's also known for occasional dolphin sightings!
Public restrooms are about a 3-4 minute walk away. While there aren't dedicated shower facilities or extensive amenities directly at the beach, you can often find showers at nearby accommodations.
Since there are some sea creatures and many rocks, aqua shoes are an absolute must-have for comfort and safety.

You can capture incredible photos from any angle here, and the presence of windmills adds an extra touch of beauty to your shots.
