Hello, I'm Yappi! 💖
Ugh, why is the weather so incredibly hot lately..? ㅠㅠ
My husband Yappu and I were craving something spicy, so we searched
and stumbled upon a super hot spot in Euljiro these days,
'Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui'!
We took a leisurely stroll from Jongno 3-ga,
which took us about 15 minutes, but for those coming by subway,
it's literally a 1-second walk from Euljiro 3-ga Station Exit 11,
which is seriously incredible ㅋㅋㅋ
When it's hot, a hot spot right in front of the station is always the best!👍

The sign at the entrance that read
'Air conditioning on powerful cooling' showed the owner's amazing sense ㅋㅋㅋ
Even for me, someone from Daegu (which is known for its heat!), it felt a bit hot,
but my friends in Seoul were really struggling?
(Hey guys, want to visit Daegu sometime..?🔥)
We quickly stepped inside the cool restaurant!
Spacious Interior & Highly Recommended for Company Dinners!

As soon as we walked in, I loved how
spacious the seating arrangement was!
We were planning to order a lot today,
so we quickly grabbed a generous 4-person table! ㅋㅋㅋ
When we visited, right behind us,
a group of colleagues was having a company dinner!
The menu offers something for everyone, and the atmosphere is lively,
so I thought it was truly perfect for a company dinner in Euljiro.

When I went up to the second floor for the restroom, I saw
a group of about 8 people also happily dining!
Since it's properly equipped with private rooms and group seating,
I'd highly recommend it for group gatherings or company dinners in Euljiro.

Also, it said they operate until 2 AM during summer,
and sure enough, even after 10 PM,
customers kept pouring in, and there were many groups
of foreign tourists too ㅋㅋㅋ
It's clearly an 'Hipjiro' hotspot that's already gained global fame...!
🍺 A Cold Draft Beer with Perfect Side Dishes!

As soon as we sat down,
we immediately chugged a 500ml Cass draft beer (~$4)! Ahhh-🍻

The complimentary cabbage salad that comes as a side dish
is truly magical.
Even with just this, the drinks just keep flowing –
it's definitely the perfect drinking snack!
🍖 Baektan Ppyeogui (Small)
🍜 Iced Kimchi Noodle Soup
✅Baektan Ppyeogui (Small / Spice Level 2) ~$26
✅Kimchi Noodle Soup (Cold) ~$7

My husband was feeling hot and craved something tangy, so he ordered
the cold kimchi noodles, which came out first!

The dongchimi broth, topped with floating ice shards,
was served generously,
and the umami flavor of the broth was absolutely insane ㅠㅠ
It was so refreshing, tangy, and sweet,
I just couldn't stop eating it...!

While we clinked glasses with our noodles and beer,
the main dish finally arrived: 'Baektan Bone Roast (Small)'!

Even though it was the small size, it was enough for 2-3 people,
and the portion was truly generous!
My worries about 'will a small size be too little?' completely vanished, lol.
Best of all, there was much more meat than bone ^^!

Bone roast I'd eaten elsewhere before
had tough meat that was hard to eat,
but the authentic bone roast here was
so incredibly tender that the meat practically melted off the bone with just a casual grab of the tongs!
It was incredibly tender ㅠㅠ
And here's a key highlight unique to Eulji Baektan Bone Roast,
the grilled green onions!

Everyone knows how delicious grilled green onions are, right?
I just peeled off the burnt outer layer, cut them with scissors,
and wrapped them with the spicy bone roast.
The sweet and spicy flavors just exploded ㅋㅋㅋ
My friend (Yappu) and I exchanged glances,
thinking, "Wow... this is amazing!" and devoured it!

🍙 Relief Pitcher Rice Balls (~$3)

We ordered the bone roast with a spice level 2,
which is about as spicy as Shin Ramyun,
but as we ate, the heat gradually built up.
So, we immediately ordered the rice balls as our relief pitcher!
With generous amounts of sesame oil and seaweed flakes,
they were incredibly savory and aromatic!

When we put the spicy bone roast on top of the rice balls...
personally, this bone roast combination
was a complete victory over the chicken feet pairing ㅋㅋㅋ
If you haven't tried this, you absolutely must try it right away!🔥

This time, unfortunately, because of a stye,
I was so bummed I couldn't really indulge in drinks ㅠㅠ
Next time, I'm absolutely going to order a refreshing lemon sour and
try pairing it with their spicy grilled ribs!
