the hardest part is choosing the perfect accommodation.
Especially when you're looking for a place that can accommodate four people together,
Seoul hotels are surprisingly few and far between.
For this Seoul 'hocance',
I stayed at UH CONTINENTAL Seoul Center, which solved all these worries at once.
After enjoying shopping in Myeongdong, and exploring Lotte and Shinsegae Department Stores, I returned to the hotel and
enjoyed a private spa experience right in the room.

Why this Seoul 'Hocance' is Highly Recommended,
A Private Spa Experience Right in Your Room
The part I was most excited about at this hotel was
the private jacuzzi spa located right inside the room.
In Seoul, hotels with jacuzzis inside the rooms are not as common as you might think. But here, a private spa area is thoughtfully set up in one corner of the living room, allowing you to relax completely without worrying about others.
During the day, you can enjoy exploring Seoul, and in the evening, you can soak in warm water, rounding off your day perfectly.
The biggest advantage is that you don't need to book a spa far away; you can simply relax and rejuvenate right in your room.
If you're planning a Seoul 'hocance', this space alone makes it incredibly appealing.
A Prime Location for Exploring Seoul,
Walkable to Myeongdong, City Hall, and Department Stores
The hotel's location is truly excellent.
City Hall Station is only about a 3-minute walk away, making subway access incredibly convenient and easy to get to major Seoul attractions.
Best of all, Myeongdong is only about a 10-minute walk away! It's perfect for enjoying both shopping and food tours.
Right behind the hotel is Lotte Department Store's main branch, and Shinsegae Department Store's main branch is about a 5-minute walk, making shopping incredibly convenient.
Seoul Plaza and Deoksugung Palace are also just a 1-2 minute walk, Namdaemun Market about a 10-minute walk, and Myeongdong Cathedral about a 15-minute walk. This makes planning your Seoul travel itinerary incredibly easy!
There are also many famous restaurants and cafes nearby, so you can enjoy both meals and desserts without having to travel far.

When you arrive at the hotel, on the 1st floor
We head up to the 3rd floor to check in.
The 3rd floor boasts a spacious lounge alongside the front desk,
and the area is truly expansive.
With Deoksugung Palace overlooking from outside the window,
even waiting for check-in feels incredibly relaxing.
There are plenty of tables and seats, making it a perfect spot to
take a break, organize your travel itinerary, or simply
relax with a cup of coffee.
The 3rd floor also features a dedicated massage chair room,
perfect for truly unwinding after the fatigue accumulated during your travels.
It's designed as a surprisingly private space, so I truly
enjoyed it throughout my staycation!!
Another thing I loved was the baggage storage service
available on the 1st floor.
You can leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out
and explore Myeongdong or downtown Seoul lightheartedly.

The room we stayed in this time was a generous 67㎡.
This room size is truly a rarity in downtown Seoul.

Even with four of us, it never felt cramped at all,
making it perfect for a relaxed family trip.
The separate bedrooms allowed us to enjoy our own time, while the living room provided a comfortable space to chat and
spend quality time together.
Convenient In-Room Amenities Throughout Our Stay
The room is also well-equipped with all the necessary amenities.
A microwave, coffee maker, cups,
and even wine glasses are all provided.
The living room features a spacious sofa and a table.
It's perfect for bringing back takeout from nearby restaurants
and enjoying a meal together at the table.
And at night, enjoying a glass of whiskey with the Seoul
nightscape was the perfect way to wind down the day.
Rooms with Views of Seoul Plaza, Deoksugung Palace, and Namsan Mountain
From the room we stayed in, we had stunning views of Seoul Plaza and
Deoksugung Palace stretched out before us.
Thanks to the expansive city views, you can truly soak in the ambiance of Seoul right from your room.
Depending on your room type, you might even get to enjoy views of Namsan Mountain,
allowing you to revel in refreshing cityscapes during the day and the truly
beautiful Seoul night lights after dark.
Indulging in a private spa while gazing out at the breathtaking scenery
was undeniably the most memorable part of this stay.

The subtle fragrance and luxurious feel of the products truly made us feel that every small detail had been carefully considered.
As expected from a newly opened, trendy hotel, the rooms were impeccably clean and felt incredibly fresh.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our entire stay, from check-in to
check-out, an absolute pleasure.

It takes about 3 minutes on foot to City Hall Station, about 10 minutes to Myeongdong, and about 5 minutes to Lotte Department Store Main Branch and Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch. Seoul Plaza and Deoksugung Palace are 1-2 minutes on foot, Namdaemun Market is about 10 minutes on foot, and Myeongdong Cathedral is about 15 minutes on foot.
