When my husband and I were planning our 3-night, 4-day trip to Jeju,

the very first thing we decided on was spending a night on Udo Island.

Udo had always captivated me with its incredibly beautiful Seobinbaeksa Beach,

and it was a place I'd longed to revisit.

I always felt a bit rushed trying to explore Udo as a day trip, catching the ferry schedules.

So this time, we decided to fully immerse ourselves by booking accommodation right on the island

and staying for a night.

And that's how we found Udo White Castle Pension.

I'm going to share our honest review, from the booking process to our actual stay!

Why We Chose This Place: Right in Front of Seobinbaeksa Beach

Udo actually has quite a few accommodations,

so we spent a good amount of time deliberating at first.

But since Seobinbaeksa Beach (Coral Beach) is my absolute favorite spot on Udo,

I figured it would be best to choose an accommodation

directly in front of it.

White Castle Pension is right there, and many reviews mentioned that you could clearly see the coral-blue sea from the window,

Its location also seemed absolutely perfect for a couple's one-night trip to Udo.

Why We Booked Through Yeogi Eottae

When deciding on our accommodation,

I had Yeogi Eottae, Yanolja, and Naver Reservations all open,

comparing prices for the same dates.

Yeogi Eottae turned out to be the most affordable.

The Exterior Looked a Bit Worn, But Inside, It Was a Whole New World!​

Honestly, when we arrived,

seeing only the exterior made me a little worried.

The outside had a slightly worn-out feel.

But the moment we opened the door and stepped inside,

the atmosphere was completely different!

From the walls to the bedding, everything was bright white and spotless,

and the bedding was so plush, it was truly comfortable to lie on.

The distance between the bed and the TV was just right,

making it perfect for relaxing while watching TV.

Plus, there was a convenience store and

restaurants right in front of the accommodation,

and the ferry dock was close by, which was incredibly convenient!

Comparing Udo Accommodations

We were looking for couple's accommodation with great accessibility and a jacuzzi,

so we ultimately decided on Hayanseong Pension.

considering just its location,

Even with Cloudy Weather, the Jacuzzi Saved Our Day!

The only regrettable thing was the weather.

The day we went to Udo, it happened to be cloudy,

so we couldn't enjoy the water activities we had planned.

But because our room had a jacuzzi,

it was wonderful to be able to relieve the day's fatigue.

Instead of water play, we soaked in the jacuzzi

and ended the day with my husband.

I really felt like we made the right choice booking a room with a jacuzzi!
