When I was looking for accommodation in Canggu, Bali,

I found The Soul House Bali, which offered both a fantastic vibe and reasonable prices.

Having stayed there myself, I'm excited to share all about this stylish Canggu guesthouse.

I'll break down every detail of its facilities.

Basic Information & Location

✔ Children (3-8 years old) can stay for free

This guesthouse was renovated in 2022.

It's located right on Batu Bolong Street,

just a 5-minute walk to Batu Bolong Beach,

and within walking distance to famous cafes and restaurants nearby.

It's truly a prime location for exploring on foot!

Prices may vary slightly depending on the booking platform.

When I visited, Agoda offered the best rates,

but with ongoing promotions, other sites might offer even better deals.

Lobby & Interior Vibe

The moment I stepped through the entrance,

I knew I had found that perfect Canggu vibe.

With a rattan entrance and a thatched roof,

the check-in area felt like a mini-resort,

instantly giving me that wonderful holiday feeling right upon arrival.

To the right of the entrance, there's also a small boutique shop.

They sell Balinese-inspired clothes, bags, and accessories,

though the prices are on the higher side.

It’s the perfect spot to browse for a bit

while you wait for check-in.

From the wall decor to every single accessory,

there are photo-worthy spots everywhere you look.

The overall interior features a lot of wood and rattan,

creating a soft and warm ambiance.

Detailed Room Facilities

I'll be explaining based on the Apartment Room.

The layout includes a terrace, living room, bedroom, and bathroom.

Overall, the space felt wonderfully spacious.

Private Facilities:

✔ Air conditioning

✔ Terrace (with palm tree view)

✔ Living Room: Sofa + large dining table (no TV)

✔ Kitchen: Cups, dishes, cutting board, pots, frying pan

✔ Refrigerator (small size, with freezer compartment)

✔ Water purifier provided (bottled water not separately provided)

✔ Bathroom: Beautiful interior, hairdryer, hand wash

To be completely honest,

the hairdryer's power is a bit weak.

Don't rely on it too much;

it's a good idea to bring your own extra hairdryer.

The tap water quality isn't great.

I recommend bringing a water filter.

There's no TV. For Netflix and other apps,

It's a good idea to bring your own devices.

Four towels are provided, and they are replaced every three days.

Two beach towels are also provided separately.

Room cleaning is daily from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Upon check-in, you receive

free drink coupons that can be used at the bar.

Pool & Facilities

There are two swimming pools.

✔ Pool in front of the reception

✔ Pool at the back

There are also beach chairs,

perfect for sunbathing.

In front of the pool, there's a common area

where people can eat or drink coffee.

The pool was truly beautiful.

It had that iconic Canggu vibe with its blue water.

After 9 PM, security personnel are on duty at reception,

so there's no need to worry about returning late.

Pros:

✔ Prime location on Canggu's Batu Bolong street

✔ 5-minute walk to Batu Bolong Beach

✔ Friendly staff service

✔ Apartment rooms include a fully equipped kitchen, allowing for self-catering

✔ Free stay for children aged 3-8

✔ High ratings on Google and Agoda

Cons:

✔ Breakfast not provided

✔ No TV

✔ Hair dryer isn't very powerful

✔ Bottled water not provided (water dispenser available)

✔ Tap water quality isn't great, filter recommended

The Soul House Bali is a value-for-money accommodation in Canggu, Bali,

equipped with a 5-minute walk to Batu Bolong Beach, 2 swimming pools, and even a kitchen.

While the hairdryer and tap water were a slight disappointment,

I was satisfied with the location, ambiance, and cleanliness.

If you just bring a water filter and an extra hairdryer,

I don't think the cons will feel significant.
