Eastin Ashta Resort Canggu Breakfast Review: Worth It?

During our recent 2-night stay in Canggu, we checked out the highly rated

Eastin Ashta Resort Canggu.

Since our booking came with breakfast included, here is our honest review

of what you can expect to start your morning here.

📍 SALT Restaurant (1st Floor)

The breakfast restaurant at Eastin Ashta is located right next to the main lobby.

Just walk all the way down the corridor, and you will find SALT Restaurant at the end.

At the entrance, the friendly staff will check your room number

and ask whether you prefer indoor or outdoor seating.

We opted for the outdoor patio tables to enjoy the morning breeze.

The indoor area is spacious with plenty of seating.

Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, it feels incredibly open and bright,

offering great views of the property.

In the early morning, the temperature was a comfortable 75°F—not too hot at all!

Because we arrived early,

we managed to snag a prime table right next to the swimming pool.

The breakfast system at Eastin Ashta allows you to

choose one main à la carte dish from the menu,

which is paired with full access to their buffet station.

I went with the classic "Omelet" for my main dish.

There is a self-serve espresso machine located outdoors,

so you can easily brew your own coffee just the way you like it.

The main buffet station is set up inside the indoor dining hall.

To be honest, the buffet variety isn't massive,

so I found myself sticking mostly to the bakery and pastry selection.

Out of fear of getting the infamous "Bali Belly," I skipped the fresh fruits...

(though plot twist: I ended up catching it later anyway, haha!).

But for those with stronger stomachs, the fruit selection looked great.

They had a decent spread of cold cuts and cheeses,

which would be perfect for putting together a quick breakfast sandwich.

(Again, my overly cautious self played it safe, but it looked very tempting!)

✅ Eastin Ashta Resort Canggu Breakfast Verdict

✔️ The taste was decent, but the limited buffet selection left us wanting a bit more variety.

✔️ Dining by the pool while listening to the birds chirp made for a incredibly peaceful morning.

✔️ It never felt overly crowded, letting us enjoy a slow, relaxed start to our day.

Eastin Ashta Resort Canggu is a fantastic budget-friendly option,

with room rates including breakfast starting around ~$58 to ~$64 per night.

Given the prime location and included breakfast, it’s highly recommended

if you are looking for value-for-money accommodation in Canggu!

The absolute best part of Eastin Ashta is its location.

There is a convenience store right across the street,

and a brand-new gourmet grocery store is just a 5 to 10-minute walk away.

Plus, famous Canggu hotspots like Penny Lane are nearby,

giving you endless options for brunch and dinner.

Next time we visit, we might skip the hotel breakfast package

and explore the incredible local cafe scene nearby instead! :)
