After yoga, I went to cool off and grab a meal,
and I'm excited to share about a **hidden pool within a resort** that I discovered.
The food was surprisingly delicious, and it's a fantastic spot to relax on a sunbed,
get some work done on your laptop, and generally unwind while working.
It's also well-known as a great **workation spot**.

Ketela Eatery & Lifestyle

I took a Vinyasa class at Jogayoga nearby,
and my body really pushed its limits throughout the class.
When I finished the class,
I was drenched in sweat and felt completely spent.
Curious about my personal review of Bali yoga studios?
🔻 Check out **the post below**!

I really wanted to relax somewhere cool
and grab a bite,
and as luck would have it, the hotel pool bar right next to my accommodation
**offered free pool access if you just ordered food**.
So, I ended up coming here.
How to Get There
✔ Google Search Name: Ketela Eatery & Lifestyle
✔ Actual Location: Pool Bar inside Theanna Villas (Theanna Eco Villa) Hotel
✔ Card Payment Available

The way to find it can be a bit tricky, so you might take a wrong turn down an alley at first.
Just head down the alley that makes you think, 'Is this really it?' and you can park your scooter there.

It's located within **Theanna Eco Villa** accommodation,
and since it's a great value stay, take a look!
👉 Great Value Canggu Pool Villa "Theanna Eco Villa and Spa"

The pool is located inside the accommodation grounds,
so you'll pass the exterior concierge and walk along a path lined with private villas on both sides until you reach the **restaurant and pool**.
It was amazing to discover such a **private oasis hidden within a bustling area**!
Atmosphere

✔ How to Use:
Free pool access when ordering food or drinks
✔ Minimum Charge:
If you spend 150,000 Rupiah, you get free use of a sunbed.

✔ Towels:
Free rental
✔ Seating Choice:
Table right in front of the pool or a sunbed.
Since the pool is right in front of the restaurant,
you get a pool view no matter where you sit.

First, I grabbed a spot at a table
with a pool view,
ate, and even did some work for a bit.
I worked on my laptop until my concentration started to wane,
and when I couldn't focus anymore,
I moved to a sunbed and went for a swim.

The sunbeds even have a slight roof over them,
and the staff kindly set up a parasol for me.
So even if it rains for a bit, you can just slide back and lie down,
and stay dry.
✔ It's perfect for a workation!
Working on your laptop while looking at the pool really helps with concentration.
While Wi-Fi generally works well in Bali,
I recommend getting an eSIM that offers great connectivity throughout your Bali trip.
If you purchase through the link below,
you can get it for 20% cheaper.

Most people were relaxing on sunbeds,
so there were hardly any people in the pool.
It was practically like having the pool all to myself!
It's truly amazing to find such a private space
in the bustling area of Canggu.
Pool Review

There's only one pool, but it's deep and spacious.
With a depth of about 1.5 meters,
and details like water quality status written on a blackboard,
it seemed incredibly clean and well-maintained.
It almost felt like I was getting to use such a fantastic pool for free.

I heard the atmosphere is wonderful in the evening
when the lights start to come on,
but unfortunately, we had to leave due to our flight schedule
and couldn't enjoy it.
✔ When using the pool, towels are provided for free.
✔ The restrooms are standard and don't have shower facilities.
It's best to wear your swimsuit beforehand.
✔ There are outdoor shower facilities, though!
Food & Drink Review

I had Nasi Goreng and beer,
and it was perfectly seasoned and served on a clean plate.

What I really didn't expect to love,
but completely fell for, was this rib-like dish.
I can't recall the exact menu name,
but definitely show them this picture and order it!
It had a really savory, braised meat flavor,
and might just be my favorite dish I ate in Bali!
I'd go back just for this dish alone.

I heard their smoothie bowls are famous,
so I definitely plan to try one next time.
✔ Nasi Goreng and the passion fruit drink are highly recommended.
Manage your expectations slightly for the fruit.
Tips & Important Notes

✔ Come wearing your swimsuit.
There are no changing rooms, and it's just a regular restroom, so changing can be inconvenient.
It's most comfortable to change at your nearby accommodation before coming.
✔ 10% tax + service charge are separate.
This structure applies almost everywhere in Bali,
so it's good to keep in mind that the final price will be 20-30% higher than the menu price,
and it'll save you any surprises!
✔ Card payment is accepted.

✔ The restrooms are as clean as a resort's.
✔ Even if a staff member greets you at the main entrance,
feel free to just walk right in.

Example Payment for Two People:
300k-380k Rupiah (around ~$22)
For this price, you virtually get a private pool,
towels, sunbeds, and even a spot to work on your laptop,
all available for you to enjoy all day long.

Ketela Eatery is perfect, whether you're looking for a Canggu workation, a place for pool hopping,
or just a spot to grab a meal and relax.
On days you want to quietly unwind in Canggu,
come here to gaze at the water and soak up the sun,
and you'll have an amazing day.
Wishing you a safe and joyful trip to Bali!
