What is Puppy Yoga?

Puppy Yoga is an experience where you practice yoga
under the guidance of a professional instructor while
interacting with adorable puppies.
✔ Duration: Approximately 60 minutes
(15 min check-in + 45 min yoga + 15 min photo time)
✔ Age Restriction: 16 years and older
✔ Class Language: English (easy to follow the movements, no problem!)
✔ Location: Canggu

Honestly, you're not really going there just for yoga.
As you follow the yoga poses,
puppies will climb onto your belly,
gently 'knead' your back,
and rush to lick your face –
it's truly just a joyful playtime with the puppies.

Best of all, most of the puppies are
rescued from animal shelters.
A portion of the participation fee goes towards supporting the shelters,
helping with the puppies' socialization training,
and increasing their chances of adoption.
It's a wonderful win-win activity where you can have fun
while also contributing to the welfare of rescued dogs.

Atmosphere at the Venue

Address: Anginsepoi hotel, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Bali 80361
It's tucked away down an alley,
so it's easiest to get there by Grab or scooter.

As soon as you enter, you'll see over 10
puppies freely running around –
just watching them immediately starts the healing process.

When the class starts, the instructor demonstrates
the poses and you follow along. However, the main goal is more about playing with the puppies than the yoga itself,
It's really not hard at all!

Absolutely no yoga experience? No problem at all!
Just lie on your stomach or stretch out wide,
and the staff will gently coax the puppies with treats,
even placing them right on your back!
They'll also put treats right on your palm
so you can feed them directly yourself.
In that moment, you'll have all the puppy love
lavished entirely on you.

Of course, these adorable puppies might occasionally make a "mistake" on the mat.
But the staff are super quick to clean it up, so you don't have to worry about hygiene.
Laughter truly fills the air throughout the entire class!
Check your photo album afterward – you'll be hard-pressed to find a single picture
where you're not beaming!
Photo Time!

Once the class wraps up, it's officially photo time!
The staff will lovingly hand you a puppy
and even snap photos of you at the designated photo zone.

✔ Refreshing tea and hand towels provided after class
It's best to snap your photos early in the photo session.
Once the puppies have had their fill of treats,
they tend to wander off and not gather as easily.
Insider Tips!

✔ What to Wear: Comfortable athletic wear for yoga + an outfit that photographs beautifully!
✔ No changing rooms available → You can change in the restroom.
✔ Take your photos early in the photo session.
✔ We recommend traveling by Grab motorcycle.

Rest assured, all the puppies are fully vaccinated against rabies.
Some reviews mention a slight itchiness around the neck
and mild redness appearing on the skin after class.
If you have sensitive skin, we recommend bringing a simple allergy medicine
with you.
If you're a dog lover, 100% satisfaction is guaranteed!
It's a truly unique experience that you can only find in Bali.

Canggu Puppy Yoga is less about intense yoga poses and more about connecting with adorable puppies,
creating a truly healing experience,
and even contributing to the welfare of rescued stray dogs.
It's truly a unique must-do on your Bali itinerary.
Pack your favorite stylish yoga outfit,
grab an allergy medicine just in case,
and make sure to capitalize on the early photo session,
and you'll have the most perfectly joyful puppy yoga experience!
