Location & Getting There
📍 The Siena Resort
158-8 Yonghung-ro 66beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do
The Siena Resort is nestled along the scenic mountainside of Seogwipo.
If you take the airport limousine bus, it is about a 10 to 15-minute walk from the stop,
which is totally doable if you travel light.
If you prefer a taxi from Jeju International Airport, it will run you around ~$26.
For those renting a car, there is a spacious, secure underground parking garage on-site.
The Exterior

This is the beautifully manicured garden area right outside the Penthouse wing.

The European-inspired architecture of The Siena Resort
is absolutely breathtaking and luxurious.
Fun fact: the neighboring Hotel Toscana (visible in the background)
is scheduled for a major renovation starting in January 2027
to elevate its luxury experience even further.

At night, the resort transforms into a magical wonderland with stunning lights.
They have gorgeous festive trees set up all over the property.
Make sure to check out the video clip at the bottom of this post to see it in action! ☆
The Siena Resort Penthouse Suite

Step inside luxury!
The Penthouse suite features a massive living room, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.

In the living room, there is a sleek built-in kitchenette.
While cooking is not allowed, it is fully stocked with
a minibar, electric kettle, espresso capsule machine, and complimentary bottled water.
Since we stayed on the first floor, we had direct access to a private terrace
overlooking the gardens. It got a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings,
but it was the perfect spot to step out and enjoy the fresh island breeze.

The master bedroom features a plush double bed
and a massive flat-screen TV.

And the master bathroom attached to it...
It is literally larger than most standard hotel rooms! Haha.
It features a separate shower stall, a private toilet area,
and a gorgeous, modern soaking tub.
Premium bath amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided.
To comply with local eco-friendly hospitality laws, single-use dental kits aren't free,
but you can purchase them for a nominal fee of about ~$0.06.
Oh, and the hair dryer is a premium Dyson★!

Right by the entrance is the second bedroom,
which features two comfortable single beds.
It has a sleek vanity, and yes—
this room also comes equipped with a Dyson hair dryer! *0*
Even though it's a minimalist room, the high-end interior
gives off major luxury vibes.

Directly across is the second bathroom,
which also features a convenient separate shower and toilet layout.
The cleanliness was absolutely flawless, and the bedding...
Oh my, the bedding was heavenly!
I'm usually not super sensitive to beds, but I arrived completely exhausted
after a very busy week. Even though I stayed up late
watching global news in the living room,
I woke up feeling incredibly refreshed.
Those crisp, cloud-like sheets are pure magic!
Even with a packed itinerary, there was no way
we were skipping the heated infinity pool.
The Siena Resort is famous for having one of the best
year-round heated pools in Jeju Island!

We went early and practically had the entire place to ourselves.
It felt like our own private oasis!

The weather was perfect,
casting a gorgeous reflection of the clouds on the water.
The Siena infinity pool is truly top-tier... 🩵

Since it was chilly outside, the pool was heated to a blissful 104°F (40°C)—
it felt just like soaking in a natural hot spring!
With no tall buildings blocking the view and overlooking the resort's luxury villas,
you genuinely feel like you've been transported to a Mediterranean escape. 🩷
Getting to experience this heated pool three times this year feels like an absolute dream!
