📌 Quick Look: A Summary!
1. I visited Tennis Metro Lotte World Mall branch,
which is about 40 minutes from Jongno 3-ga Station.
2. It was fantastic for shopping, with a huge collection of
various tennis apparel brands and rackets all in one place.
3. The demo zone (~$10) cannot be booked on the same day,
and Naver reservations are currently unavailable, so I recommend calling them!

Hi everyone, it's Yappi🐰
My husband and I have been playing tennis
day and night for almost two years now!
As someone from a regional city (Daegu), I've always had
a huge craving for a large tennis multi-brand store ㅠㅠ
There are no stores like this in Daegu...
Someone please, please open one...... 😭
So, while I was in Seoul, I finally visited the
'Tennis Metro Lotte World Mall branch', which I'd wanted to see for ages!
Where does everyone else shop for their tennis gear?!

📍 About 40 minutes from Insadong!
Off to Jamsil Lotte World Mall!

We passed through Jongno Insadong Street, where our accommodation was~~
and arrived directly at Jamsil Lotte Department Store
by subway!

Right when we walked in, a pop-up was in full swing.
It was the 'Izuna Atelier' pop-up!

I didn't know much about it, so I looked it up and found out it was a collaboration
between the girl group 'Izuna' and 'France Louvre Baguette'... ^^;;
I just thought it was a bread shop pop-up... LOL

There were so many people,
and I wanted to buy something, but I passed on it.
Instead, I quickly dashed to the 3rd floor of World Mall,
where Tennis Metro is located!

Various Brand Tennis Gear ⭕

Upon arrival, I saw an incredible variety of products!
From ON (On Running) tennis gear (hats, apparel, shoes)
to the Yonex tennis shoes I'm wearing, they had it all.
Nike, Adidas, Asics, and so many more!

Among the Nike tennis shoes, there was even a pink pair I really wanted to buy, so I spent some time admiring them from every angle! 💕
While browsing the apparel section, I spotted the dress Sabalenka wore during the Wimbledon season?! Seriously, isn't this dress even more gorgeous in person?!

When I asked if I could try it on right away, they said only XS and S sizes were available... *sigh*... S clearly wasn't going to work, and when I asked for M, it was sold out ㅠㅠ haha.
Apparently, these run small. So, if you're planning to buy one, keep that in mind! I thought I was going to score a great deal since someone offered to buy it for me, but it was a total bust!
Racket Room & Stringing Service,
Plus My Unsuccessful Experience with the Demo Zone 🥲

Inside the store, there's a demo zone and a racket room! I was genuinely surprised by how incredibly well-equipped it was!
These days, Wilson's new 'Defy' series just launched, and it's getting an incredibly warm reception, right?!
I'm currently using a Wilson Blade v9 260g, and they even had the new v10 that I was curious about, plus a whole lineup of Head and Wilson rackets!

They had a diverse range of grips and weights in stock, which made it great for my 'racket nomad' husband and me to try out various options. Any fellow 'racket nomads' among you, my dear readers?!
It also seems they offer stringing services, so it looked like a perfect spot for anyone needing tennis gear to get all their shopping done in one go!
🚨 Must-Check Before Visiting the Demo Zone
& Booking Tips!

The demo space next to us was already being used by someone who had a reservation. We asked about trying out a racket too, but they informed us that same-day reservations weren't possible ㅠㅠ *sigh*...

Since our trip to Seoul was rather spontaneous, I hadn't thought about making a schedule, and then this mishap happened! It was incredibly disappointing 😭

💡 Demo Zone Usage Notes
• Demo Reservation Fee: ~$10
• Booking Tip: As of July 31, 2026, it seems the Naver reservation window is currently closed!
• If you wish to try out rackets, we recommend calling the store directly before your visit.

My husband, who used to frequent Tennis Metro when he lived in Seoul 'back in the day,' said it brought back new memories coming with me, and he kept expressing how disappointed he was that we couldn't use the demo zone...
Next time, I definitely need to call the store in advance, secure a reservation, and try out the Blade v10!
