Over the weekend, I visited The Hyundai Seoul and

decided to pop into

Teddy Bär House at The Hyundai Yeouido branch,

which is rumored to be one of Seoul's top 3 croissant spots!

It was charmingly decorated with a

Christmas vibe,

and it totally caught my eye!

Teddy Bär House is located on the first basement level of The Hyundai Seoul,

right in the corner next to Five Guys.

If you come down the central escalator,

just head to your left!

It was pretty crowded since it was the weekend,

but finding it wasn't too difficult because I could

spot the teddy bears from afar.

Especially the huge teddy bear near the entrance –

almost everyone stopped to take a picture with it!

There's a notice that says

customers can use the store after securing a seat,

The inside was beautifully decorated with a Christmas vibe,

but unfortunately, the seating area wasn't as spacious as I hoped,

so I failed to grab a seat 🤣

First up, the most basic of basics,

the Butter Croissant!

It's also a signature menu item at Teddy Bär House,

made with premium French AOP L'Echiré butter,

creating a signature croissant that's crispy on the outside and moist on the inside :)

There's the pizza-like Margherita and

the Pain Suisse with a mix of

custard and chocolate cream.

This one was truly delicious!

It's my top pick among all the Teddy Bär House breads I've tried!

They also sold rusks in four flavors:

chocolate, honey butter,

matcha, and pistachio,

which looked great for a small gift.

A variety of croissants,

looking delicious though a bit pricey.

The combination of figs and cream cheese

looked absolutely divine.

I initially thought this was

just an egg tart, but it turned out to be

an egg tart croissant?!

I already love egg tarts, so I gave it a try,

and compared to a regular egg tart,

that pastry part is much crispier

and it's also quite large!

I agonized over which croissant to get,

and instead of something overly creamy or excessive,

I chose the Almond Croissant for its

faithful take on the classic with a

subtle, living detail.

The croissant, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside,

paired so perfectly with the almonds that

it was a choice I didn't regret at all.

Small and adorable baked treats.

Since they were small, I somehow felt less burdened (?),

so I grabbed a Hazelnut Financier. It was tasty,

but truly just a single bite.

a famous menu item, but

I'm not a big fan of kouign-amann,

so I didn't get this one.

there were also mini cream puffs!

I was curious and wanted to try one,

but they only sold them in sets.

There are conditions, but,

the thought of getting a free croissant is amazing,

so if you're planning to visit on a **weekday morning**,

make sure to grab one!

There's also another neat little event:

a review promotion! If you write a

**Naver review** at the store,

you can get a **~$1 discount**.

Even on the day I visited, there was quite a line at the checkout,

but perhaps because it seemed a bit bothersome,

not as many people participated as I expected?

While waiting in line, I quickly participated and

got a small but precious ~$1 discount.

It's a great spot for a date or a visit with friends,

but families visiting with kids

will especially love this space!

The croissants were incredibly delicious,

and even though the price felt a bit steep,

I'd definitely come back for more 😋

One of these days, I'd love to come during a weekday morning

and snag a free croissant!
