If you're arriving at Suseo Station to catch an SRT train, you might wonder how long it actually takes to walk from the subway to the train platform. I decided to time it myself!

01 Starting from Suseo Subway Station Line 3

While Suseo Station now has GTX service, I'll be focusing on transfers from Subway Line 3.

After tapping out of the subway gates, I immediately headed towards the Suseo Station SRT direction.

The time was 12:43 PM!

I followed the large arrow pointing to 'High-Speed Train' ← and continued straight.

This initial part is quite straightforward and quick.

02 Suseo Station SRT Moving Walkways

This is where the longer stretch begins. The good news is, unlike major hubs like Seoul Station or Busan Station, Suseo Station has absolutely no stairs! What a relief!

Since many travelers have luggage, I hopped on the moving walkway. I walked at a slightly brisker-than-usual pace (but not speed walking) to account for potentially being a little behind schedule.

Began walking on the moving walkway at 12:44 PM!

I'm not sure of the exact distance in feet, but there are about 3-4 moving walkways in a row.

There are restaurants and cafes along the way, but I kept my focus and reached the end of the corridor at 12:46 PM!

Thankfully, I didn't encounter any major bottlenecks, and it only took about 2 minutes to walk this stretch!

03 Important Considerations for Suseo Station Travel Time

My SRT train was scheduled for 1:00 PM, so I arrived with plenty of time to spare.

I even had time to stop at the Seven-Eleven for some water and a sandwich.

(Honestly, the Seven-Eleven at Suseo Station is quite small. I wonder if a larger convenience store would thrive there! 🫠)

When you arrive at Suseo Station via subway, the train platforms are located at the very end of the station concourse.

So, if you've booked a seat in one of the rear carriages of the SRT, be prepared for a significant walk to your train.

Luckily, I was in Carriage 2, so I boarded quickly. But if you need to walk to the far end of the platform, you're looking at an additional 5 minutes or more just on the platform itself.

In conclusion, even if you alight from the fastest exit on Suseo Subway Line 3 (near doors 2-2 or 4-3), you should still budget a 💡 minimum of 5 minutes from tapping out of the subway gates to reaching your train platform!!!
