Every summer, I make it a point to indulge in Sungsimdang's bingsu, and this year, their summer bingsu menu has returned.
And guess what? They've also brought back their amazing, budget-friendly cup bingsu!

Sungsimdang is located in a bustling, complex alleyway within a central commercial district, making vehicle access extremely difficult.
You might find yourself stuck in traffic with cars and pedestrians intertwined, unable to move.
I've seen it happen many times!
When visiting, always navigate directly to one of the **designated parking lots** instead.
Trust me on this one!

The cup bingsu is ordered and picked up from a kiosk
located just outside the Yetmatssomssi store.
It took about 5 minutes to prepare after ordering.

The portion was also perfect for one person!
Often, bingsu portions at other places can be overwhelming,
but this one was just right.
My husband found it so delicious,
he said he could easily eat another! Haha.
It's layered with ice, red beans, more ice, and then topped with
whipped cream, chewy rice cakes (tteok), and a crunchy, savory cookie crumble.

The Strawberry Cup Bingsu
is layered with ice, strawberry syrup, more ice, and then topped with
whipped cream, chewy rice cakes (tteok), and a crunchy cookie crumble.
It's similar to the Red Bean Cup Bingsu, but with strawberry syrup instead of red beans.
The ice is incredibly fine, melting delicately in your mouth,
while the whipped cream and crunchy cookie topping add an extra layer of sweetness.
Kids who love strawberry bingsu will absolutely adore this one!
