Hello, fellow food adventurers!
This is your go-to guide for discovering delicious local eateries.
Recently, I had an appointment near Express Bus Terminal Station, which led me to Central City. While searching for a good spot for dinner, I stumbled upon Sugar Skull Central City – and what a discovery it was!

It was a long-overdue reunion with three of my friends, and we all craved Mexican food. Sugar Skull Central City turned out to be the perfect choice, even for those new to Mexican cuisine, offering a comfortable and approachable dining experience.
Sugar Skull Central City Ambiance
The restaurant is located on the first floor of Famille Station. The path can be a bit tricky, so I highly recommend checking the location beforehand.

To find it easily, head towards Express Bus Terminal Station Exit 4, then take Gate 4 and enter Famille Station. You'll spot it in no time.
We made an online reservation in advance, which was a smart move. Even on a busy weekend afternoon, we were seated immediately without any waiting.

The interior boasts a vibrant, colorful Mexican theme, creating a distinct and lively atmosphere as soon as you step inside.
The tables are spaced generously, allowing for comfortable conversation and dining for our group of four.

Sugar Skull Central City Food Review

The Taco Platter & Chips was fantastic for sampling a variety of flavors without having to choose just one. It made ordering effortless!

It came with eight tacos, featuring four different fillings: carnitas, fish, chicken, and shrimp, along with a generous serving of crispy nachos.

The chips maintained their delightful crunch, and when paired with the accompanying sauces, they created a rich and harmonious flavor experience.

The Grande Fajita arrived sizzling on a hot plate, immediately grabbing our attention with its enticing presentation.

We loved assembling our own tortillas with the fresh ingredients, sharing bites, and enjoying the perfectly balanced flavors together.

And the sweet and savory corn? Absolutely addictive!
Overall, the dishes weren't overly spicy or intense, making them incredibly approachable and enjoyable for everyone. It felt like Mexican comfort food done just right.

A big plus was the complimentary single refill of tortillas and sauces, ensuring we had plenty to go around.
We initially worried about the portion sizes, but for four women, the combination of dishes was perfectly satisfying.
