Jeju Udo Accommodation Recommendation: Women-Only Guesthouse & Pension with a Pool

I'd always done day trips to Udo Island,
but having to rush back for the ferry always felt too short.
It was such a shame.
This time, I wanted to explore Udo Island at a leisurely pace,
swim at the accommodation, and truly relax!
So, for the first time, I decided to stay overnight, haha.

The place I stayed at was
Space01, a women-only accommodation in Udo.
It's perfect for solo travelers,
friends looking for a great value guesthouse,
or anyone seeking a cozy pension!
What really stood out was the view from the window,
where the green barley fields and the ocean meet...
It made me feel like staying overnight on Udo Island was truly the best decision ever :)

1. Recommended Accommodation on Jeju Udo

Space01 is located in Yeongil-dong, Udo,
and it's a women-only accommodation.
They operate dormitory rooms and twin rooms,
accommodating up to 22 guests.
On the first floor, there's also a lounge
where multiple guests can gather!

If you text the owner upon arrival or the day before,
breakfast is also available.
It's not a noisy party guesthouse,
but rather a warm and friendly guesthouse
where the owner is kind
and even offers food when they're not too busy.
Such a cozy place!

Being a newly built accommodation, only about a year old,
it was generally very clean.
After actually staying for a day,
I found the bedding and mattress conditions to be excellent,
so there was almost none of that old, worn-out feeling
you sometimes find in guesthouses.

Also, while Udo Island restricts general tourists'
rental car entry,
guests staying here are allowed to bring their cars.
We rented a car from Jeju and brought it over,
and it was so convenient and great!

Even if you arrive without a car,
they offer pick-up after 4 PM
and drop-off at check-out,
so make sure to confirm with the accommodation in advance :)
2. 4-Person Dormitory Room

If you're traveling solo or with a group of friends,
I'd recommend the 4-person dormitory room.

Even though it's a 4-person room,
each bed has blackout curtains, making it cozier than I expected.
When you close the curtains completely to sleep,
it really feels like your own private space!
There's also a light and charging port right by your bedside,
perfect for scrolling on your phone at night, charging it up, and then drifting off!

Individual lockers and storage spaces
were all clearly separated,
and towels were also provided,
so even with several people sharing,
it didn't feel inconvenient in the slightest.

The view outside the window was absolutely stunning, so
rather than feeling like a typical budget dormitory,
it felt much more like getting incredible value for money
at a Udo stay with an amazing view, haha!
3. Twin Room (for 2 people)

If you're traveling as a pair, I highly recommend the twin room!
It definitely offers more spaciousness than the dormitory,
and even comes with a TV and a refrigerator,
but the landscape visible through the large window is truly unparalleled...!

Beyond Udo's lush green fields,
the expansive blue ocean stretches out,
so you don't even need to step outside
to truly soak in that Jeju Island feeling.

If you're looking for a quiet retreat for two,
or prefer a more private experience than a guesthouse,
something akin to a private Udo pension,
then the twin room is definitely for you! :)
4. Bathroom & Pool & Amenities

The bathroom comes with shampoo, conditioner, body wash,
and toothpaste, so all you need to bring are your personal cosmetics and
any other shower essentials you might need.
Oh, and the hairdryer, which was surprisingly important!
Its powerful airflow definitely won me over, haha!

The accommodation also boasts an outdoor swimming pool,
and I even went for a night swim with my friends.
The sky starts changing colors as the sun sets,
and the Udo sunset viewed from the pool is
absolutely the epitome of romanceㅠㅠㅠㅠ

At night, the stars are beautifully visible,
making the entire stay feel like an unforgettable part of the journey.

From the rooftop, you can see the wide-open Udo fields and
the sea, and a huge bonus is that you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset!

What's more, there are various leisure activities available here!
Electric bikes usually rent for ~$15 per hour from rental companies,
but here, guests can rent them for a whole day for just ~$11!

The Udo Olle Boat, operated by the owner,
which normally costs ~$22,
was available to guests at a 50% discount
for ~$11.

If you really go to Udo, you absolutely MUST try the Olle Boat..
It's a completely different experience from walking or cycling,
offering a unique kind of fun!

I visited recently in the summer and spent a cool day there
with the air conditioning blasting,
but even for winter travel, they use an oil boiler instead of typical electric heating panels,
which I think is a big plus for anyone planning a winter stay
on windy Udo.

There's even a karaoke machine in the 1st-floor lounge,
so it's perfect for workshops and group stays too, haha!
I used to only do day trips to Udo, but this was my first time staying overnight.
Not having to worry about boat times and being able to leisurely explore,
swim, watch the sunset, and even see the stars truly made
Udo feel completely different.

So, if you're looking for accommodation on Udo, especially a safe place for solo female travelers,
a budget-friendly guesthouse for friends,
or a pension with ocean views and a pool, then
Space01 might just be the perfect spot for you :)
