On this trip to Jeju,
I truly felt that a resort
is the perfect choice for family accommodation.
From the more spacious rooms than a typical hotel
and the expansive views of Jeju's palm trees,
with **walking paths, breakfast, in-house restaurants, convenience stores, and even cafes**,
everything can be taken care of right within the resort,
making it absolutely perfect for family travel.
Today, I'll start by sharing my review of the
Sonokam Jeju (소노캄 제주) Family Twin Room with cooking facilities,
and I'll continue with the amenities in the next post~!

📍 Sonokam Jeju
6347-17 Iljudong-ro, Pyoseon-myeon (표선면), Seogwipo-si (서귀포시), Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (제주특별자치도)
Sonokam Jeju is
located in **Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si**,
making it a great location for exploring
major tourist attractions like Seongsan Ilchulbong (성산일출봉), Udo (우도), Geomun Oreum (거문오름), and more.

The outdoor parking lot is spacious, so
I parked comfortably for 3 nights. There's also an underground parking lot, so **you don't have to worry about finding a spot**.

Sonokam Jeju is
divided into the **West Wing (웨스트동) and the East Wing (이스트동)**.
If you plan to **frequently use amenities**
like the lobby, convenience store, sauna, or breakfast,
I highly **recommend the West Wing**,
as it offers direct elevator access from your room.

The **lobby is on the 4th floor of the West Wing**;
there's a cafe right in front of the lobby,
and I love how incredibly spacious the whole hall feels.
Check-in: 15:00
Check-out: 11:00
Family Twin Room with Cooking Facilities

I was assigned **West 303**.
Family rooms are definitely great because **they're spacious**.

Even though it was just my mom and me traveling, making us two people,
there was an **extra set of bedding in the closet**.
It seems like enough space
even for two adults and one child.

With a double bed, a single bed, a sofa, a table, and a dining table,
the generous space meant we enjoyed a comfortable stay without feeling cramped at all.
While the room doesn't feel brand new,
it actually has a **cozy, comfortable vibe**,
which my mom absolutely loved.

Even though we were only on the 3rd floor, not a high one,
I was incredibly **satisfied with the terrace view**.
My mom loved it too, opening the curtains to admire the outdoors every single morning!
(Just a note: they say the room views are generally better in the East Wing than the West.)
But honestly, I was perfectly happy with the West Wing room view!

The vanity was perfect for getting ready in the mornings,
and my mom certainly made good use of the TV, haha!
The sofa was so spacious, making it really convenient for placing clothes and bags.

There's a bar table kitchen area,
which is fantastic for preparing simple meals.
(Quick tip: Microwaves are conveniently located on the same floor as the convenience store,
with two dedicated units for guest use!)
And the kitchen table was big, so I
could even do some work on my laptop for a bit!!

There's a sink and a two-burner induction cooktop.

Also, Sonokam Jeju (소노캄 제주)
doesn't provide bottled water separately.
But a convenience store was close by, so it wasn't a major inconvenience.

Cooking utensils and tableware are provided.

The bathroom seemed a bit old, but
it was well-maintained and clean.
Hot water flowed well, and the water pressure was good too.
Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, and body cleanser, but
there are no toothbrushes or toothpaste!
And even though there were two of us,
they generously left plenty of towels
on the doorknob every day, so we never ran out!

I'll write more details in a future post about the other facilities,
but Sonokam Jeju is connected to Olle Trail Course 4 (올레 4코스), so
it was great for morning walks.
Breakfast was satisfying, and the restaurant inside the resort called Sodam (소담)
was so delicious that I visited twice! The Terrace Cafe (테라스 카페) was also really lovely lol
If I visit Jeju Island (제주도) with my family again,
I'll definitely stay at Sonokam Jeju!
