Shilla Stay Plus Iho Tewoo!
I've stayed at a few ocean-view accommodations,
but the ocean view at Shilla Stay Iho Tewoo is truly spectacular, among the best I've seen.
It feels less like a simple hotel and more like a resort with a fantastic atmosphere.
Since I visited less than a month ago,
I'm sharing a fresh-off-the-press review.

Shilla Stay Iho Tewoo is just a 15-minute drive from Jeju Airport.
If you're on a family trip with kids and prefer minimal travel time,
or looking for accommodation with a pool on your first or last day of travel,
this location is perfect.
You might expect a location near the airport to be in the city,
but Shilla Stay Iho Tewoo offers a perfect ocean view experience.
While not all rooms have an ocean view,
the pool and cafe also boast ocean views, plus it's connected to a coastal walking path,
allowing you to fully enjoy the Jeju sea until you check out.
Aewol Cafe Street is also just a 25-minute drive away,
so we went for a drive, had dinner,
and even caught the sunset at a cafe before returning – everyone was delighted! : )

Comparing the representative ocean view rooms by occupancy,
Agoda is currently the most affordable.
While it's a bit pricier compared to other accommodations nearby,
considering it's a new hotel opened in '24 + its excellent proximity to Jeju Airport + stunning ocean views,
I think the price is quite reasonable!

Among all the ocean-view accommodations I've stayed at,
Jeju Shilla Stay Iho Tewoo had the most spectacular views.
The staff were friendly, and the room condition was spotless,
making it a hotel where I checked out feeling completely satisfied.
Thanks to a partnership with my husband's company, we were lucky enough to stay in a
5th-floor Deluxe Bunker Ocean View room this time.

If you prefer being close to all the action, the Standard rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors are conveniently located near the pool, convenience store, and restaurant : )

The hotel pool isn't just an amenity; it's a seamless extension of the stunning seascape,
harmonizing perfectly with the ocean to create an even more breathtaking vista.
This shot was taken the moment I opened my eyes in the morning : )
It's truly magical – no matter which bed you're lounging in, the sparkling ocean is right there to greet you.
Just a heads-up, the bunker rooms come equipped with super fun bunk beds, making them an ideal choice for
families traveling with kids! The floors are a warm wooden finish, and the top bunk is securely enclosed, ensuring peace of mind for parents.
The pool at Shilla Stay Iho Tewoo is quite famous, and it's easy to see why –
who wouldn't want an ocean view while swimming? While it might be compact, it boasts a heated pool and a sauna, and you'll find plenty of life vests readily available for your safety and fun.
Sadly, our schedule got a bit tangled, so we couldn't actually dive in for a swim.
But here's a little secret: you can still visit the pool area without changing into your swimsuit!
This meant I could still enjoy the stunning morning views from the pool, which was a nice consolation.
Even better, you can step right out to the beautiful coastal promenade directly from the pool area!
With its picturesque stone walls, it's a fantastic spot for photos!
We noticed quite a few people, just like us, grabbing a refreshing drink from the cafe next to the pool
and enjoying an invigorating morning stroll along the path.
By the way, that cafe I mentioned is none other than the charming Waveliss Cafe!
It's actually operated by Iho Tewoo itself, and guess what? It also boasts a sensational ocean view,
so you can truly soak in the endless beauty of the sea.
* Coffee prices typically start around ~$5 / Bakery items are around ~$3,
Plus, hotel guests receive a delightful 10% discount!
Beyond that, Shilla Stay Iho Tewoo, while not sprawling in size, is remarkably well-equipped, even boasting a CU convenience store and a gym!
The underground parking might feel a tad compact for the hotel's capacity,
but the outdoor parking area offers decent coverage from the sun,
so it's really not an issue.
* For your convenience, the CU operates from 6 AM until 1 AM.
Just a note: if you're looking for alcoholic beverages, you'll find them exclusively at the cozy lounge bar.
The bathroom, though compact, was sparkling clean and even featured a lovely bathtub.
Just a heads-up for fellow travelers: due to the Resource Recycling Act, you'll need to purchase toothbrushes and toothpaste for about
~$1. We actually thought they weren't provided at all, so we ended up buying toothpaste separately for ~$2... learn from our experience!
To sum it all up,
if you're seeking a pristine, ocean-view haven near Jeju Airport, where both your room and the shimmering pool offer breathtaking sea vistas,
then Shilla Stay Plus Iho Tewoo comes with my highest recommendation. It's truly a gem!
