San Francisco Airport Duty-Free (DFS)
Once you clear security and enter the duty-free zone, DFS will likely be one of the first stops you spot. You'll find a fantastic selection of American chocolates like Ghirardelli, Reese's, and Kit Kat, making it hard to pick just one!

Just next door, I spotted a delightful collection of Miffy plushies and adorable trinkets. It was a struggle to resist on my last day, but if you love cute souvenirs, this section is a must-see!

Cafes at SFO
SFO offers a fantastic array of cafes, making it easy to grab a quick bite or a refreshing drink while you wait for your boarding call.
· Black Point Cafe
·Peet's Coffee
· Boudin Bakery

I was particularly excited to revisit Boudin Bakery. Having enjoyed their famous sourdough throughout my trip, I couldn't resist one last stop before heading home.
They offer everything from fresh-baked bread and coffee to hearty sandwiches, perfect for a light meal and a final taste of San Francisco's iconic culinary scene.
Just be prepared for a crowd – it's a popular spot for a reason!

Airport Gift Shops
My absolute favorite find, and the one that truly caught my eye, was NEW STAND.

While the prices might be a bit higher than outside the airport, this store truly has everything you could possibly need or want.
· San Francisco souvenirs (clothing, hats, keychains, pouches, mugs, magnets, etc.)
· Ghirardelli, See's Candies
· Various jellies, chocolates, snacks
· Medications, travel accessories

The candy and jelly display, in particular, was so vibrant and tempting, I simply couldn't walk past it without stopping!

I'd missed a morning stop at CVS, but honestly, NEW STAND came to the rescue. I ended up stocking up on some delicious jellies and chocolates right here.
Yes, it's a bit pricey, but the convenience of grabbing last-minute treats you can enjoy immediately or easily stash in your carry-on (saving precious checked bag weight!) is a huge plus.

Peet's Coffee Review
After all that shopping, a refreshing iced latte from Peet's Coffee was exactly what I needed!
Its rich, nutty flavor was the perfect pick-me-up, melting away the last bits of travel fatigue.
I highly recommend it if you're looking for a quality coffee fix.

If you find yourself needing to grab some last-minute souvenirs or snacks before departing San Francisco, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out NEW STAND.
SFO itself is pretty easy to navigate, with relatively short walks to gates and plenty of comfortable seating areas. It’s ideal for enjoying your airport finds while you wait for your flight.
