A year ago, Namjoon shared an Instagram post,

accompanied by sweet comments from his younger members.

And get this, SFMOMA themselves proposed a collaboration to Namjoon, and our King Namjoon replied with a heartfelt handwritten letter,,💙🐨🥹

SFMOMA :

He (RM) sent a reply with a handwritten letter,

and the exhibition's other two curators,

América Castillo and

Curator Kim Hyoeun,

said they were deeply moved after reading the letter

due to his sincerity in wanting to introduce Korean art to people. Castillo said,

"His writing contains a very beautiful

poetic sensibility."

Namjoon's words, and even his handwriting, are so moving that

I can't even begin to imagine how truly beautiful they are...

Curator Kim stated,

"As a Korean curator,

I desperately wanted to introduce wonderful Korean art and artists

to the United States,

which is why this project holds a very

special significance for me."

Christopher Bedford, Director of SFMOMA,
