Park Habio Water Kingdom Seoul 2026: Indoor Waterpark Fun for Families

With the sun getting scorching hot, even a park picnic

has become an extreme challenge! 🥵

Last weekend, I ventured to Jamsil Songpa, specifically to

Park Habio Water Kingdom

Seoul Waterpark

I visited!

Water fun right in the heart of Seoul? Imagine that!

The short travel time meant we could enjoy it from opening to closing,

and my child and I had a truly fulfilling time.

For a genuine review of our amazing time at Songpa Water Kingdom with my child,

I'll share all the details right away!

Water Kingdom is located in Jamsil Songpa, within

Park Habio.

It's super accessible, whether you come by subway or bus!!

The underground parking is spacious, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby,

so you'll find lots to do before or after your Water Kingdom adventure!

Just enter Park Habio through Gate 3,

park in section E on B2 (Basement 2), and take the escalator up,

and you'll be right at Water Kingdom!

If you spot something shimmering in the parking lot,

park right next to it and head up!

The standard Naver reservation price for Park Habio is

just for the waterpark single ticket, ~$45!!😱

If you purchase online, you'll receive a barcode link via text message.

I scanned it at the unmanned kiosk, and my admission ticket was issued!

Make sure not to throw it away, as it comes with a parking discount coupon and your locker number,

so keep it safe when you enter!

Once you have your ticket, put your shoes in the assigned locker number and enter!!

Since our admission ticket was an integrated Waterpark + Jjimjil Spa pass,

on the way to the women's changing room, I also picked up Jjimjilbang clothes and a towel

before heading in.

Waterpark users must bring their own towels.

Sauna/Jjimjilbang users are provided one towel.

If you purchased a waterpark-only pass, make sure you

bring your own towel!

For the wave pool at Park Habio Water Kingdom,

wearing a life vest is absolutely mandatory.

If you haven't brought one, you'll need to rent it immediately upon entry.

We brought our kids' life jackets,

so we only rented life jackets for the adults.

Our kids are 7 and 11 years old, so...

Last time, we rented a sunbed but didn't even sit on it once,

just left our stuff there and played, which felt like a waste, so we skipped it this time.

After entering the waterpark, many people

were leaving their belongings in the middle of the stairs.

As soon as you enter, you'll see the water bomb splash zone,

Splash Down.

The water is shallow, and the kids loved running around

and getting hit by the water curtain.

Even kids who are scared of slides can handle this one:

Swift Blast.

They giggle and run to it themselves,

riding down all by themselves.

I'm genuinely terrified of slides,

but the Swift Blast was actually fine.

Just a little bit thrilling, haha!

There's a first aid room next to Swift Blast.

Of course, it's best not to get hurt,

but it's good to remember its location just in case, haha!

Water Kingdom's main pool, the wave pool:

Survival Wave.

The giant whale floating on the ceiling feels like its mascot.

Seeing the blue sky through the indoor waterpark ceiling

was absolutely wonderful.

The sun was warm at midday, and the water was slightly cool,

making it feel like a perfect water play experience.

Life jackets are mandatory at Water Kingdom's wave pool!

Lifeguards constantly warn people

who don't have life jackets.

Even kids are only allowed with life jackets!

It seems like flotation aids and arm tubes are not allowed.

I wondered why it had become so strict, and then I saw:

the waves are stronger than you'd expect,

and the water gets quite deep inside.

Even my son, who often goes to waterparks, said he was scared, so

I made sure he had both a life jacket and a tube.

If you slip into the whale's mouth next to the wave pool,

you'll find the calm lazy river.

You can spot dinosaurs along the way,

and the lighting is beautiful,

making it perfect for a leisurely float.

As someone who's scared of slides, I wouldn't even dream of trying

these slides!

You can ride down on either a single or double tube.

I visited on a Sunday,

and in the morning, there was hardly any line, so you could ride easily.

In the afternoon, though, there was a bit of a queue.

The Wave Lazy River

I think we spent over 4 hours just in this area!

The waves are quite strong, so even though we were floating on tubes,

the thrill was absolutely amazing... lol!

Because it opened at 11 AM, we couldn't dive straight in,

so we played in another pool nearby before heading in.

This pool is absolutely fantastic for babies and toddlers.

Complete with small slides, seesaws, and all sorts of fun features,

it's the perfect spot for parents to playfully engage with their kids.

One thing we noticed though, maybe because the water is quite shallow,

it felt just a touch cooler than the main pool.

Good news! There's a spa zone conveniently located right next to it,

so if anyone starts feeling a chill, you can always pop in for a quick warm-up.

These wonderful cabanas and sunbeds are thoughtfully placed all around the indoor water park,

so I figured there'd never be a shortage of comfy spots to relax.

It's a smart idea to grab a spot near where your kids are having the most fun.

The Wild Wet River wave pool was also set to open at 11 AM,

so we headed to play nearby before its grand opening: say hello to

Planet X​

Here, we indulged in some water cannon massages,

and with its perfectly moderate depth, it was ideal for my daughter, who's still learning to swim,

to practice her strokes!

Then there was the exciting 'hanging challenge' at

Spider Wing

I admit, I was a little worried because my child generally has weaker gross motor skills,

but after 6 months of Taekwondo, her stamina has absolutely soared,

and her confidence in using her body has grown so much!

It was one of those moments where you truly feel your investment (in Taekwondo!) has paid off 🤣

Loads of kids, from elementary school age right up to older children, were eagerly taking on this challenge.

The platforms below actually move, and the gaps are quite wide,

making it a really thrilling challenge to conquer!

And then, as the clock struck 11 AM, the moment we'd been waiting for:

The Wild Wet River was OFFICIALLY OPEN!!!

The waves were surprisingly powerful,

and I was genuinely taken by surprise!!!!

My 7-year-old son initially clutched my hand tightly, a little intimidated,

but later he was absolutely loving riding those waves!

■Important Notes for Wild Wet River Adventurers■

-Minimum height requirement: 115cm.

-Children must be accompanied by a guardian.

-No personal floats or tubes allowed.

(The provided tubes might be a bit too large for smaller children, so keep that in mind!)

The ceiling above sparkled beautifully.

My son, who just barely met the 120cm mark, I initially worried if the waves might flip him over,

but thankfully, that wasn't the case at all!

He ended up spending a whopping 5 hours just in the wave pool....

I genuinely found myself humming, 'Something's wrong... big time!' 😂😂😂😂😂😂

After all that fun, it was lunchtime!!

We ate at Food Village,

located inside Park Habio Water Kingdom.

I thought 12-1 PM would be peak lunch hour,

but it turned out 1-2 PM was the busiest! Haha.

The menu is quite extensive and varied!

We ordered the

King Sirloin Pork Cutlet, Fish Cake Udon, and Tteokbokki.

While tables fill up quickly due to limited seating,

the turnover seems fast.

We only waited a short while before a spot opened up!

And the food comes out super fast!

It felt like our number was called almost immediately after we ordered!!!

I had low expectations because some reviews weren't great, but

I actually thought it wasn't bad at all!

The pork cutlet was crispy,

and the tteokbokki was mild enough for even elementary school kids to enjoy.

After fueling up and recharging with the kids,

we headed back to enjoy the water.

After lunchtime, the sun started streaming in,

making it feel even warmer!

And the crowds grew even larger.

The lines for the slides also got quite long.

I tried to convince the kids to leave around 5 PM, telling them it would get too crowded if we stayed until closing and tried to shower then, but I failed....

We ended up playing until closing and then headed straight to the sauna, haha!

On the way to the changing rooms after enjoying Water Kingdom,

plastic bags are provided.

You need to take off all your wet clothes and put them in a plastic bag.

The sauna also has warm baths, hot baths, and cold baths,

and it's no secret that we spent ages in the warm bath there too....

Kids' endless energy!

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all provided in the sauna,

so don't worry if you didn't bring your own! Hehe.

Our kids truly enjoyed the water park non-stop,

from opening at 10 AM until closing at 6 PM!

By evening, they were completely wiped out from exhaustion....
