Initially, I actually thought 'T-Luggage' might be affiliated with a major telecom like SKT. Haha!
However, while doing research for this post, I discovered that T-Luggage (also known as Ttota Luggage) is a baggage storage and delivery service launched by the Seoul Metropolitan Government (Seoul Metro).
Knowing it's operated by a public institution definitely adds an extra layer of trust and peace of mind.

There's a good reason why I chose T-Luggage over the regular coin lockers at Seoul Station that day.
It was a holiday weekend, and Seoul Station was absolutely bustling with tourists. Every single regular locker had a queue forming, meaning they were likely all full.
Knowing this, I decided to head straight for T-Luggage, hoping for a quicker and easier experience.
The process was surprisingly simple and fast:
- Upon arriving at the counter, I simply told the staff how many suitcases I needed to store.
- They quickly confirmed the size of my luggage, and I proceeded with the upfront payment.
- After payment, the staff handed me a storage receipt, and that was it – my bags were checked in!
*Make sure to keep your receipt safe; you'll absolutely need it when you come back to pick up your luggage!
When I visited, the main storage area was quite full. However, the friendly staff explained that they would temporarily keep my bags near the entrance and then securely move them to the inner storage room as space became available. Their professionalism instantly put me at ease.
While the price might seem a bit higher compared to standard coin lockers, I found it well worth the cost. Especially on a busy weekend or holiday, the hassle of dragging a heavy suitcase around Seoul Station in search of an empty locker is a real pain. T-Luggage saved us that trouble!

T luggage at Seoul Station is located on B1F near Exit 2, in the direction from Exit 1 to Exit 2. Operating hours are daily from 9 AM to 10 PM.
Luggage storage fees vary by carrier size. S-size (20 inches or less) is ~$2, M-size (20-23 inches) is ~$3, L-size (23-27 inches) is ~$4, and XL-size (27 inches or more) is ~$6. These fees are for a basic 4-hour period, after which an additional fee of ~$1 per hour applies.
It is not possible to pick up items after 10 PM. In this case, you will need to pick it up the next day, and additional hourly fees will apply.
First, arrive at the counter and inform the staff of the number of suitcases you wish to store. The staff will check the size of your suitcases, process the payment in advance, and upon completion, you will receive a storage receipt.
