It was lunchtime, and we decided to grab a bite near Seoul Station.
But heading out of the station felt a bit tricky time-wise.
So, our chosen spot was none other than
Connect Place, the fantastic food court
located on the 3rd floor of Seoul Station!
Being right inside Seoul Station is a huge plus –
it's perfect for a quick stop before or after your KTX train journey.
And the best part? You can savor a fantastic variety of dishes,
from Korean to Chinese, Japanese, and even refreshing Naengmyeon,
all in one convenient place!

When you first arrive at Seoul Station,
what most people think of as the 1st floor
is actually the 2nd floor!
To find the Seoul Station food court,
simply take the escalator up one more floor from there,
and you'll arrive at Connect Place on the 3rd floor.

Connect Place, the Seoul Station food court,
has become my go-to spot every time I use Seoul Station recently.
At the entrance of Connect Place,
you'll find tempting dessert shops like
Doredore and Benson Ice Cream, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth!
You can also enjoy hearty Ido Gomtang,
Hoshikatsu Donkatsu restaurant,
and a variety of other fantastic restaurant brands like Gatten Sushi and Hou Sum!

This time, I decided to check out Connect Terrace,
located within the Seoul Station dining area.
The Seoul Station food court is impressively large and spacious,
with plenty of seating, making it perfect for groups!
However, since I visited during lunchtime, it was quite busy,
and I had to play a bit of a 'waiting game' to snag an empty seat.
Still, perhaps because it's a train station, the turnover rate was quick,
and I managed to grab a seat in just about two minutes!
You'll even find dedicated spots for your luggage throughout the space.
And for families with little ones,
high chairs were readily available too!
Plus, with a water dispenser on hand,
it truly felt like a comfortable dining spot for everyone.
QR Ordering Method
When it gets crowded, especially during lunch,
I highly recommend ordering via QR code
rather than standing in line at the counter.
Just scan the QR code at your table,
choose your favorite dishes, and you'll get a KakaoTalk notification when your order is ready,
super convenient for chilling out while you wait!
It was especially satisfying because if you're ordering from different restaurants,
it streamlines the whole process, making it incredibly easy to manage all your orders at once.

The Crab Meat Jjajangbap, chosen by my son,
had tender crab meat and jjajang sauce blended together perfectly,
making it a delightful and easy meal for him.
Jjajangmyeon
The Jjajangmyeon also had that familiar flavor
that everyone, young and old, knows and loves.
Gunmandu (Fried Dumplings, 5pc)
The Gunmandu were perfectly fried to a crisp,
making them a wonderful side dish to share.
Gajok Hoegwan - Dolsot Bibimbap (Hot Stone Pot Mixed Rice)
If you're craving a hearty Korean meal,
the Dolsot Bibimbap here was also a fantastic choice.
Ojangdong Heungnamjip - Hoenaengmyeon (Spicy Cold Noodles with Raw Fish)
This was my personal pick!
The sweet, sour, and spicy seasoning
really whetted my appetite;
and with a generous amount of raw fish salad,
I savored every single bite.
It's especially perfect as a refreshing summer dish.
