The wait is over! The 2026 Coupang Play Series
schedule and ticket prices have finally been released! ⚽
This year, giants like Manchester City
and Atletico Madrid are heading back to South Korea.
But looking at the ticket prices...
Whoa...
Compared to last year's Tottenham vs. Newcastle match,
or the previous Man City vs. Atletico Madrid clash,
prices have definitely gone up.
Now, the big question is:
"Which seat should I actually book?" 🤔
01. Coupang Play Series
Ticket Price Comparison
Let's break down how much they've increased
by comparing past Coupang Play Series
ticket prices side-by-side.

Premium C | ~$256 | ~$256 | ~$288 |

Even considering the big-name teams involved,
prices stayed the same from 2023 to 2025.
But for 2026, we are seeing a jump of anywhere from ~$13 to ~$45.
That's a pretty hefty hike, right? 😱

I actually worked as a media staff member during last year's series.
And as a passionate, 21-year veteran fan of FC Seoul😎,
I've sat in almost every corner of Sangam Stadium.
Based on my experience, I'm here to give you the ultimate guide to
Seoul World Cup Stadium seat views!!

03. Seoul World Cup Stadium Seats & Views
While I usually hang out in the FC Seoul supporters' section,
I'll walk you through the various seat views
around Sangam World Cup Stadium
based on my 20 years of matchday experiences!
As a reminder, all of this year's Coupang Play Series games—
Team K League vs. Manchester City
and Manchester City vs. Atletico Madrid—
will be held at the iconic
Seoul World Cup Stadium (Sangam).

The first letter of the section refers to East, West, South, and North (EWSN),
and the following letters categorize the rows from A to Z,
so keep that in mind when looking at the map!
Keep in mind that there are sections I haven't personally sat in
(and some where I couldn't snap a photo, sorry! 😭),
and camera zoom can make things look slightly different,
so please use this as a general guide! 😀
For your convenience, I've listed them
in order of my personal recommendations for each tier! =)
Premium A
W-D

✔ Pros: You can watch the players up close,
from their entrance all the way to their exit!
✔ Cons: Corner kicks on the opposite side
can be hard to see, blocked by the team bench
W-C

✔ Pros: As expected, fantastic views of the players
✔ Cons: Occasional blind spots can happen
due to the bench blocking the action
W-B

✔ Pros: Highly recommended if your favorite
players are full-backs or wingers!
✔ Cons: Play on the far side of the pitch
can be a bit hard to follow
Premium B
W-J

✔ Pros: Fewer view obstructions than Premium A,
and you still get a pretty close-up
view of the players!
W-M

✔ Pros: Same great views as W-J, and
highly recommended for away team fans!
✔ Cons: It's a slightly longer walk
from the subway station
W-B

✔ Pros: Great overall view of the match
✔ Cons: Slightly angled towards the corner
Premium C
✔ Pros: Absolutely the best view
for taking in the whole game at once
✔ Cons: Players might not come over
as much compared to the W seats
1st Class A
Highly recommend E seats over W-A or H
1st Class B
Similar to W seats
1st Class C
E-P

✔ Pros: You get a fantastic, clear
overall view of the game
✔ Cons: Might trigger a tiny bit
of fear of heights
2nd Class A
E-Q

✔ Pros: Much more budget-friendly than
W-Q to V, despite having the exact same view
✔ Cons: You might feel a bit detached
from the close-up player action
2nd Class B
N-D

✔ Pros: You can cheer together
with fellow home team fans!
The closer to the front you are, the view is slightly blocked,
but you get the ultimate pitch-side energy
✔ Cons: Large waving flags
might block your view sometimes,
and you'll be standing and chanting the whole game
S-C

✔ Pros: Same as N-C
✔ Cons: Same as N-C
N-C

✔ Pros: Same as N-D
✔ Cons: For some reason, I always find myself
drawn more towards the W seats...
N-E

✔ Pros: Although it's slightly to the side,
Great view of the match,
and you can get slightly away
from the hardcore supporters...
✔ Cons: Same as N-C
N-B

✔ Pros: Same as N-C
✔ Cons: Same as N-C
Category 2 Class C
N-E

✔ Pros: Same as Category 1 N-E
✔ Cons: Just slightly further than N-E
N-F

✔ Pros: Even though it's on the side,
you get a great view of the pitch,
and you can clearly see the players taking corner kicks
✔ Cons: It is on the side, sadly T_T
N-A

✔ Pros: Same as N-F
✔ Cons: Same as N-F
Category 3 Class A
✔ Pros: Probably the most spacious and quiet ^^;
✔ Cons: High up and on the side,
so it's probably the least popular area...
Category 3 Class B
N-L

✔ Pros: Feels like playing a football video game,
excellent view of team tactics, very comfortable
✔ Cons: If you have a fear of heights,
it might feel a bit scary
N-K

✔ Pros: Same as N-L
✔ Cons: Same as N-L

04. My Personal Seat Recommendations If You Are Booking
While I do enjoy joining in on the chanting,
I absolutely love that incredible feeling
of watching the ball fly straight into the net
from right behind the goal,
which is why I often prefer the goal-line sections!
My go-to sections are usually
N-E and W-J.
When I was younger, it had to be the front row right behind the goal!!!
But these days, I'd rather avoid massive crowds... 🫠

Here is my subjective checklist
for choosing the best seats at Sangam Stadium:
✔ If you want an up-close view of the players:
W-B~F, E-C~F
✔ If you want a full view of the pitch:
E-D~E, W-S~T, E-N~P
✔ Best seats for taking great photos:
W-B~F, N-E, S-B
✔ Best seats to join the chanting/cheering:
N-C~D, S-C~D
✔ Most budget-friendly seats:
N-M~J, S-M~J
I highly recommend picking your seats
based on your goals!
Seoul World Cup Stadium is
a massive arena with over 66,000 seats,
and the atmosphere feels a bit different
depending on which section you choose.
Naturally, the higher the ticket price,
the better view you'll get 😔
Still, since ticket prices for a single match
can be quite an investment,
I hope this helps you find the absolute
best value-for-money seat for your trip!
