When I first thought about Lotte Seoul Sky, I honestly wondered if it was just for kids.

But to my surprise, when I actually visited, I saw so many couples!

Lotte World Tower is an incredible 123-story skyscraper,

and the observatory, Seoul Sky, occupies floors 117 all the way up to 123!

Standing at an astonishing 500 meters high from the observatory level,

it's not only overwhelmingly the tallest in Korea

but also ranks among the world's most iconic heights!

3. Waiting Times

Seoul Sky is definitely more crowded on weekends than weekdays.

There was a line at the Seoul Sky entrance, so I waited 15 minutes to get in,

but then I had to go down an escalator and wait another 40 minutes.

The absolute busiest time is around 5 PM, just as the sun begins to set!

That's because you get to witness both the vibrant daytime sky and the breathtaking hues of the sunset!

But surprisingly, once I made it up, it wasn't overly crowded,

and with three floors, there was plenty of space to explore comfortably!

So, if you can just brave that initial queue on the way up,

you'll be rewarded with access to a cafe and stunning views to savor!

4. My Takeaway

After waiting, when you hop into the elevator,

you'll zoom up to the 118th floor in a flash!

My ears popped for a moment on the ascent, a true sign of the incredible speed!

The breathtaking panorama from Seoul Sky, soaring high above the city!

The weather was a tad cloudy that day, so the distant views weren't crystal clear, but

even with a bit of cloudiness, the sunset was still absolutely stunning! ꔛ

The expansive windows make you feel like the whole world is open before you – it's truly fantastic!

📌Photo Tip

When you get off the elevator, there's a designated spot where people queue to take pictures,

but honestly, there's no need to wait in line for that particular spot, as your photos will turn out beautifully anywhere!

Even snapping a shot by a less crowded window will give you gorgeous results.

and you can take pictures of various city views,

so take your time, explore all the vantage points, and capture those incredible city views!

After taking plenty of pictures indoors, I went up to the 122nd floor by escalator,

where you can also step out and capture some amazing shots outdoors!

I bought a postcard for ~$1 at the souvenir shop,

and with music boxes, various dolls, and unique trinkets, it was genuinely fun to browse around!

The 122nd floor even has an Angel-in-us cafe, perfect for grabbing a quick drink while you wait for a table at a popular Jamsil restaurant using Catch Table ദ്ദി,,-`_´-)੭

You can easily take in all the sights within 2-3 hours, making the generous 4-hour parking allowance more than enough time to enjoy your visit!
