Seoul Land November 2026: Discounts, Parrot Cafe & What to Wear

Perfect for an early morning visit!

Seoul Land Discounts

If you check the Seoul Land website,

you'll find a variety of discount options.

You can get discounts just by having certain cards, no minimum spend required,

and there are various other benefits like online ticket purchases and membership perks.

You might be able to get even more discounts,

but prices generally range from ~$18 to ~$20.​

I think that's how it's structured.

I bought my ticket when a special deal popped up on Coupang.

After visiting Everland last October,

I was suddenly fired up for another theme park adventure!

When I saw the special deal (around November 8th),

I figured if I didn't go, I could just get a refund,

so I just went for it!

It was my first time visiting Seoul Land!

I wondered if I'd been there as a kid, but since I don't remember it,

it seems I've only ever gone to Lotte World and Everland, even as an adult.

I was thinking of trying it out once,

and then perhaps getting an annual pass.

Outside

Since it was November, it was quite chilly,

and I had to go on my husband's day off,

so I was worried because the weather was cloudy.

There are parking lots at the East Gate, Rear Gate, Ssam-i-mat, and Administration Building,

and we went to the East Gate.

You can pay for parking at the self-service pre-payment kiosk

when you leave.

Parking is free for Seoul Land visitors.

From the East Gate

We had our tickets checked,

got a map, and entered right away.

We started from the East Gate and did a loop, making our way upwards.

What We Wore & What We Packed

It was around November 20th, quite chilly and overcast.

What the Kids Wore

Thermal underwear

Long-sleeved tops (not brushed/fleece-lined,

Brushed/fleece-lined bottoms)

Fleece jacket

What We Packed

Adhesive hot packs (used them in the evening)

Raincoats (for the rapids ride, and also wore them during a brief drizzle)

Windbreaker (put on the kids in the evening)

Gloves, scarf (used as the sun set)

Individual picnic mat (great for sitting and watching performances)

Didn't need theme park chairs

(Weekdays, overcast sky meant shorter waits)

No need for a packed lunch (lots of good value food options)

It got chilly as the sun set,

so those warm items really came in handy!

Rides

The place was beautifully decorated everywhere.

We wore the theme park headbands

we bought last time.

Larva Ride

We thought about riding that one,

but if we'd taken our kids on it, they would've almost fainted ;;;;

It goes faster than you'd expect!

Kraken Island

This ride features a giant whale.

There are slides, and the door concept is really fun.

We slowly made our way down,

riding the ones that looked good.

Compared to Everland, there were many rides suitable for preschoolers to early elementary kids,

and our kids, who don't like scary rides, loved it even more.

Dancing Magic House

Only my eldest daughter and I rode this one.

After this ride, I even managed to convince her to read the Magic Tree House books!

LOL

Alice's Wonder House

This was the kids' absolute favorite spot.

It was fun to follow the story of Alice in Wonderland

and pass through changing spaces

as we followed the narrative.

After this day,

our kids became fascinated with

the story of Alice in Wonderland...

A space that shrunk as if by a potion

While some spots felt a bit dizzying,

the kids absolutely loved it!

They loved everything, from the slanted floors to the spinning rooms,

and even the media art space was incredibly fun!

We ended up visiting Alice in Wonderland

a total of three times, LOL!

It's an elementary schooler specialty:

If they like something, they keep repeating it.

Food and Snacks

You'll find plenty of food options everywhere,

including Bunsik (Korean street food), Gukbap (rice soup), Pho Mein noodles,

Lotteria, popcorn, convenience stores, and more.

Snacks

Mostly in the ~$3 - ~$4 range

(Sotteok-sotteok, sausages, etc.)

Since we didn't have a proper breakfast,

we decided to grab a meal, and Gukbap it was!

You can just order everything from one kiosk.

While waiting for our Gukbap at the Gukbap place,

we picked up some Tteokbokki

and ate them together.

Jangteo Gukbap and Tteok-twi Set

Gukbap (rice soup) had plenty of broth, making it perfect for mixing with rice.

I didn't have high expectations for Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), but the rice cakes were so soft,

and the flavor was really good!

The food was surprisingly delicious, so I think I'll definitely come back next time.

Heading to the main street!

These charming, quaint buildings are so delightful.

We stopped by a souvenir shop and bought a hat for my second child.

There are trees everywhere!

I was really impressed with how thoughtfully and beautifully the landscaping was done.

When you think of Seoul Land in Gwacheon, the 'Earth Star' (Jigubyeol) comes to mind, right?

There was an announcement about a show happening later.

So, we came back later for the show!

We headed towards the area with the big Christmas tree.

There's a small theater here,

and since it was showtime, we caught a performance.

The show was really fun!

It was about 20 minutes long, but so full of content!

The remote control boats were ~$1 (for 3 minutes)... a bit pricey, haha!

Parrot Experience Cafe

It started drizzling a bit, so to escape the rain,

we came in for some coffee.

Since this place offered a parrot experience,

we ended up... doing the parrot experience!

A sparrow just can't pass a mill, right? Haha!

We did everything – feeding them and interacting with them.

You enter a space where the parrots fly freely around!

It was really convenient to feed the parrots using the wooden handle,

and it was wonderful to see them up close.

The animal interaction experience takes place over by the tables.

If you're seated at a table, an animal handler will come over to explain everything

and introduce you to the gentlest animals for your interaction.

They mentioned the yellow one loves climbing onto shoulders,

and sure enough, it climbed right up in no time! 😉

Christmas Market

You can roast marshmallows here!

As the sun was setting,

we grabbed some marshmallows.

The marshmallows were in adorable shapes.

While they're definitely worth buying for the fun of it once,

the taste... well, I think classic white marshmallows roast better

and are actually tastier...

King Viking

It wasn't operating due to the rain.

Anyway, we're not big fans of scary rides, so no biggie! 😉

Pirate's Den

This is where you ride a train and shoot laser guns!

Even though the weather started to clear,

perhaps because it was still a cloudy day, there weren't many people around.

So we got to ride our favorite attractions two or three times!

We rode this one about three times too!

I got the highest score!

(I gave it my all! 💪)

Rapids Ride

Only my eldest daughter and I dared to ride this one, lol!

We donned our raincoats and plunged in.

My eldest daughter said it was a little scary on the way down,

but it was totally manageable!

Then we headed back up to the higher section of the park.

Let's head back up!

Carousel

I didn't ride it at Everland,

but I'm riding it here at Seoul Land!

The Turning Mecard Racing is for toddlers, and we skipped the second floor.

Peter Pan spun quite fast!

But we still went on it once.

KartRider Bumper Cars

We rode these with the kids. We even went on it twice!

We also rode the airplanes!

Santa Show

As it was time for the show,

we quickly headed to the performance hall.

There weren't too many people, so we got to sit in the front row and watch!

The passion and energy of the performers are truly incredible!

We thoroughly enjoyed the show for quite a while.

Gifts are always the best, aren't they?

As the sun set, it became beautiful again!

But now it was time to say goodbye~~

Most of the rides close around 6 PM.

4D Surprise Adventure Theater

Most of the rides had already closed after 7 PM,

but we saw the lights on here, so we checked it out.

Luckily, we could catch the last showing, so we went inside!

It runs every 15 minutes, starting on the hour

(like on the hour, 15 past, 30 past, 45 past)

I think our session was at 7:30 PM...

We watched the Canyon Race, and the chairs even shook,

and wind blew — oh, it was so much fun!

I left with a few people

who were done for the day.

It was such an enjoyable day!

Since it was cloudy and not many people were around,

it was great that we could ride our favorite attractions 2 or 3 times each!

And also,

my legs didn't hurt as much as they do at Everland... awesome!!
