Don't exhaust yourself walking Seoul Grand Park! Discover how the Sky Lift package saves your legs and wallet, plus why 2026 is your last chance to ride.

Seoul Grand Park is incredibly massive! If you try to walk from the main entrance all the way to the top of the zoo, your legs will definitely feel it. 😂
Taking the Sky Lift is a total game-changer. It saves your energy, cuts down on walking, and offers stunning aerial views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It is pure healing! 🎵
Highly recommended for families with kids—and honestly, just as fun for adults! 😄

Did you know? 2026 is your absolute last chance to ride the classic open-air Sky Lift.
The existing open-air lift will only operate through 2026. Starting next year, a brand-new closed-cabin gondola system will be introduced to protect riders from the wind, rain, and cold.
While the new gondolas will be more convenient, 2026 is the final year you can enjoy the thrilling open breeze and unobstructed, panoramic views of the park. 🥲!

You can buy your Sky Lift tickets on-site or online, but booking online is highly recommended!
First of all, the online discount is massive.
A package including 3 Sky Lift rides + Zoo admission for an adult drops from ~$17 to only ~$13!

If you plan to explore the zoo and ride the lift, buying this combined online package is a no-brainer.

Buying tickets on-site means waiting in long lines and paying full price, which is not ideal. 😂
You can buy online and use it on the exact same day! You can even purchase it on your phone right after arriving at Seoul Grand Park.
Plus, with a 100% refund policy for unused tickets, you do not have to worry about sudden weather changes.

The Sky Lift has two separate sections: Line 1 and Line 2.
Line 1 runs from the Parking Lot to the Zoo Entrance.
Line 2 runs from the Zoo Entrance to the very top of the Zoo (near the Tiger/Predator exhibit).
Here is the ultimate routing tip!
You might think a 2-ride pass is enough for a round trip, but if you want to see the zoo properly, a 3-ride ticket is the best choice.

Recommended Route:
1) Parking Lot to Zoo Entrance (Line 1 - Ride 1)
2) Zoo Entrance to the top Predator Exhibit (Line 2 - Ride 2)
3) Walk downhill while exploring the Zoo
4) Zoo Entrance back to the Parking Lot (Line 1 - Ride 3)
Because the predator exhibit is at the very peak of the hill, walking up from the entrance is incredibly tiring. Riding up and walking down is the most efficient, energy-saving route!
(Especially if you are bringing strollers or wagons... 😇)

The open-air design of the lift lets you feel the cool breeze, and the panoramic view of the entire park is absolutely breathtaking.
It is a double win: you save your legs from miles of walking while enjoying a scenic sky ride!
Even as an adult-only group, we had a blast. It would be even more magical if you are visiting with kids! :)

A few animal enclosures were closed for renovation, but the zoo is so massive that there is still more than enough to see for a full-day itinerary!
Using the Sky Lift to save our stamina was the best decision we made.
Even with the lift, walking downhill through the zoo was quite a workout, and we found ourselves stopping for breaks. 😂

If you are planning a trip to Seoul Grand Park, the Sky Lift is a must-try experience!
Remember, 2026 is the final year to ride the classic open-air lift before the upgrade, so do not miss out! 😂
Save your time and money by booking the online package before you go! :)
Line 1 operates between the parking lot and the zoo entrance from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Line 2 connects the zoo entrance to the beast enclosure and is available from 9:30 AM to 5:40 PM.
For adults, the package with a regular price of ~$17 can be purchased online for ~$13. You can book and use it on the same day, and unused tickets are fully refundable.
We recommend taking Line 1 to the zoo entrance, then transferring to Line 2 to go up to the top at the beast enclosure. From there, you can slowly walk down while viewing the animals, and then take Line 1 back to the parking lot, which will save you a lot of energy.
The existing open-type Sky Lift, where you can enjoy the panoramic view while feeling the breeze, will only be available until the end of this year. Starting next year, new closed-type gondolas with roofs and doors will be introduced.
