Places to Visit in Seongsu-dong (성수동), Seoul: IGUHOM (이구홈) Seoul Forest (서울숲)
29CM HOME Interior Goods Shop
Seongsu-dong is always a must-visit whenever I'm in Seoul!
After grabbing a coffee at my favorite Seoul cafe, Camouflage (카모플라쥬),
and visiting Seoul Forest after a long time, I spotted a building I'd never seen before,
and it was none other than IGUHOM!
My eyes went wide at IGUHOM, and I exclaimed, "Wow! When did 29cm open?!"
My sister then corrected me, "It's not 29cm, it's called IGUHOM!" and laughed.
Oops, I had no idea! Haha.
IGUHOM Seoul Forest Basic Information
Address - B1-3F, 37-1 Seoulsup2-gil, Seongdong-gu (성동구), Seoul
Hours - 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM

And that's how I stumbled upon IGUHOM Seoul Forest!
Using all four floors, from basement 1 to the 3rd floor,
this standalone building was impressive in scale from the moment I saw it.
I thought this was the only one, but when I tried to add a map to the post,
I found that there were actually three IGUHOM locations
just in Seongsu and Seoul Forest alone!
Basement 1

Once you step inside, you can start exploring from Basement 1.

These coffee postcards perfectly hit the spot for us coffee-loving sisters!
How could we possibly just walk past these? Haha!
I could tell at a glance they were Drawing Paper (드로잉페이퍼) products, and I was right! Lol.
I was frantically searching for new stock,
but my clever sister asked a staff member,
and they brought out more for us! Haha.

From Miffy (미피) and Sanrio Friends (산리오친구들) to Crayon Shin-chan (짱구) and Joguman (조구만),
there was a huge variety of character dolls, stationery, and goods.

Even this unfamiliar yet somewhat familiar character was so cute, I had to snap a pic!

And my beloved Monchhichi (몬치치) was there too! Haha.
Muziktiger (무직타이거) was also holding a pop-up event, so there were so many
products on display. But since it was crowded, and I wasn't particularly interested in
Muziktiger,
I only took a few photos. Lol.

This corner would make stationery fanatics'
eyes spin if they came to IGUHOM!
There was a huge variety of items perfect for decorating your diary (dakkku),
including notebooks, masking tape, memo pads, and stickers.

There were also many beautiful cards and postcards, and since I usually love
Drawing Paper products,
it was hard to just pass them by.

What do you even call these?
Mini acrylic stands, maybe? Haha.
These were cute too, so I took a shot.

It felt like every kind of stationery imaginable was gathered here!
And it seems I really wanted this mouse pad haha.
Those who love stationery will probably spend quite a bit of time browsing from the Basement Floor 1!
1st Floor

Coming up to the 1st floor, this time, various fashion accessories caught my eye, including pouches and shopping bags.

The display was arranged so tastefully,
but why did I take the picture so crooked? haha

There were so many types of pouches, but these two pouches
were personally just too cute :)

Seriously, how can socks be this colorful and stylish? Haha!
The colors were beautiful and the designs were diverse,
so it was fun looking at each one.

The pet corner was also super popular!
It made me think of my own dogs, but knowing they'd probably just rip everything up the moment I put it on them, I just quickly zipped through the browsing!
2nd Floor

The 2nd floor is mainly a space where you can find kitchenware!
From the moment I went up the stairs, colorful items
caught my eye, and the vibrant colors were no joke.

There were so many cute items that I imagine anyone who loves
kitchenware would spend a long time browsing here too.

And there was an familiar Stanley (스탠리) zone too haha!

The way they were neatly displayed by color was just
so incredibly cute!
Arranging them by color like this made them much more eye-catching
than just displaying the products individually.
The 2nd floor also had snacks you could easily enjoy!

From cutlery to kitchen accessories,
why was there so much to covet~
If you enjoy creating a home cafe vibe or decorating your kitchen
with cute items, like I do,
you'd probably have a blast browsing here.
There were many local customers, but Igu Home (이구홈)
was also extremely popular with foreign tourists!
3rd Floor

While I was at it, I quickly headed up to the 3rd floor to check it out too! haha

What truly caught my eye on the 3rd floor was
the uniquely designed lighting!
There were so many products that felt a bit different from typical lighting,
making it truly fun to browse the interior decor items.

Beyond that, I browsed a variety of items, from bathroom essentials to combs,
before heading back down.
And just like that, from the basement 1st floor all the way up to the 3rd floor,
I finished exploring IGU HOME Seoul Forest (이구홈 서울숲)!

Time for a cozy home cafe moment with the delicious coffee beans I enjoyed at Camouflage Coffee (카모플라쥬 커피)
and the lovely postcards I picked up at IGU HOME!
A set of 3 postcards was ₩4,500 (~$3),
and by bringing home these postcards I adored,
I can enjoy my home cafe time even more happily, haha!
I originally popped in, thinking, "Maybe I'll just take a quick look?",
but there was so much more to see and shop for than I expected,
making IGU HOME Seoul Forest a delightful experience!
From stationery to fashion accessories, kitchenware,
and even interior decor, it's a place filled with such a diverse range of products
to browse that I completely lost track of time!
If you're planning a visit to Seoul Forest (서울숲),
I highly recommend stopping by IGU HOME to explore~~
It's also the perfect spot to find a small gift for yourself or a special present for a loved one :)
