I was SO curious about what that paper was‼️‼️

What was everyone eating?! I wondered...

And then I found it – my dopamine rush〰️〰️

It turns out it was this place, HoGwaDang!

As expected from a Seongsu-dong apple pie specialty shop,

pies are continually baked, and the friendly staff

are fantastic at promoting them, announcing that the pies just came out!

A staff member, who looks a bit like All-Day Fresh Wochan(?),

was exuding the aroma of pies.

Wow... I realized that intense pie smell that had been lingering from the start of the alley

was all because of this!

To be honest, even before I came to Hogwadang,

I knew this was a place Jung Kook had visited,

and it had already gained serious buzz among ARMYs.

Everyone who's been here raved about how delicious everything was, so I had high expectations!

Hogwadang Pie × Grey Penguin

After picking up your pies,

it's less than a 1-minute walk away,

and you can apparently enjoy them with a drink at Grey Penguin.

No more pacing back and forth wondering where to enjoy your dessert after buying it!

Since Hogwadang desserts are welcome inside the cafe,

this is definitely the spot to go!

I briefly considered heading to a cafe, but with the Seoul International Garden Expo taking place in Seoul Forest,

and wanting to soak in that perfect picnic atmosphere,

I scurried off to Seoul Forest!

And of course, when you come to Seoul Forest, you can't miss this essential pilgrimage site:

J-Hope's bench!

How to enjoy your Hogwadang Pie even more🥧

If you can't devour your freshly baked Seongsu-dong apple pie right away,

heat it in an air fryer or oven at 180°C (about 350°F) for about 3-4 minutes,

or microwave it for 30 seconds,

and the pie will become even more delicious!

You'll get perfectly crispy layers

and a wonderfully warm filling inside.

Heat it up just the way you like it〰️

My sister, who used to be a Pie Face worker in Australia,

took one bite of the taco pie and...

Oh wow, this is incredibly delicious!

They've taken crispy pie crusts

and filled them with domestic pork, potatoes, cheese, tomatoes, and even nachos,

reinterpreting it as a taco pie perfectly suited for Korean palates.

And it looks like they've absolutely nailed it,

capturing the taste buds of not just Koreans,

but global explorers too!

It's so satisfying and filling, it could easily be a meal on its own!

Seriously, foreign visitors were constantly waiting in line,

taking pictures and just loving it!

Behold, this is the power of K-pie!

This is definitely the kind of pie spot Jungkook would rave about!

Even though I wasn't starving,

the magical flavor was so irresistible that even Miranda, who usually eats light, found herself effortlessly

reaching for another slice!

Taco pie, salt pie, apple pie... pure deliciousness!

Me, absolutely thrilled after devouring that pie!

And of course, I had to snap a commemorative photo at J-Hope's bench!

We ate pie together,

but how is Jungkook still built like Superman...?
