Sungsimdang Terrace Kitchen is

located on the 2nd floor of the main Sungsimdang bakery, making it super convenient

to buy your bread and then head straight upstairs for a meal.

With plenty of tables and a diverse menu,

it's the perfect place for a proper, hearty meal.

Sungsimdang Udongya is

located in the Jungangno Station underground shopping center.

They sell udon, soba, rice balls, and tempura,

making it the go-to spot for a quick and casual bite.

will leave incredibly happy.

My Honest Review (What I Actually Tried)

✔️ Hearty Tonkatsu / ~$6​

It's bigger than an adult man's hand,

and paired with that classic retro tonkatsu sauce,

it's a menu that absolutely cannot go wrong.

✔️ Pork Chop Steak / ~$8​

Drenched in a sweet and savory, slightly spicy BBQ sauce,

this tender pork chop steak

actually tasted even better because of that subtle kick!

To wrap things up, we couldn't resist trying Sungsimdang's bingsu (shaved ice)!

While Sungsimdang is most famous for its "Legendary Bingsu,"

I'm not the biggest fan of red beans,

so I opted for the Snow Strawberry Bingsu,

which features fluffy milk shaved ice and sweet strawberry compote.

I couldn't believe this amazing quality was only ~$4!

The sweet, melt-in-your-mouth milk ice

paired perfectly with the sweet and tangy strawberry syrup.

If you're visiting Sungsimdang during the summer,

trying the bingsu at Terrace Kitchen is an absolute must.

It's light enough to enjoy right after your meal,

and it was just as satisfying as their famous breads!

the benches scattered around the underground mall!)

While Udongya's Cold Soba and Udon are delicious,

their handmade rice balls (jumeokbap) are said to be the real deal.
