Sip on rich, spicy broth packed with fresh octopus and abalone while staring out at the turquoise waters of Jocheon, Jeju. Read our Seomoreum Ramen review.

Eating hot ramen while looking out at the ocean
has always been on my bucket list.
The weather was absolutely perfect, so I finally got to
enjoy a bowl with a wide-open view of the sea!
It has surprisingly great reviews, and since it's located
in Jocheon—not too far from Jeju City—
I decided to check out Seomoreum Ramen.

We decided to order both the octopus ramen and the seafood ramen!

The sun was incredibly intense, but
staring out at the sparkling ocean
while slurping down hot ramen—
it was such a special, healing, and joyful experience.

The octopus pieces inside were absolutely massive!

There were plenty of crunchy bean sprouts, too,

and the sheer amount of clams was seriously out of this world!
No matter how many I ate, they just kept coming.

With crab in the mix, the broth was incredibly light and refreshing.
While it wasn't overly spicy,
it was packed with so much delicious seafood, which was amazing.
Because the octopus, clams, and crab were all so incredibly fresh,
I enjoyed every single bite!
Personally, I wouldn't have minded a bit more heat,
but it was an absolute umami bomb
and a real crowd-pleaser of a ramen that anyone would enjoy.

After eating, we took a stroll along the beach right in front to help digest.

We saw so many little fish swimming around! The beautiful Jeju ocean is just wonderful!

It's also a perfect spot to sit down and snap some photos 😀

Take a seat on this chair—there's even a tripod set up
so you can easily snap your own photos! It's the perfect photo spot! 📸
