If your travel plans take you from Jeju Airport down to Seogwipo, make sure to stop by Saryeoni Forest Path and soak in the refreshing shade of the forest.
It's one of those beloved spots that captivates visitors with its unique charm, no matter the season.
The Saryeoni Forest Path is mostly flat, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll and capturing some incredible photos.

Afterward, visit the nearby Sosan Oreum to experience the tranquil and serene landscape of Jeju Island.
This is a lesser-known gem, offering an easy, flat walk and a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy a different side of Jeju's volcanic cones at your own pace.
Because it's flat, it's also a fantastic spot for parents and children to explore together!

Continuing towards Seogwipo, we visited the magnificent Yongmeori Coast, often called the 'Grand Canyon of Korea'!
The biggest draw of Yongmeori Coast is its unique sedimentary rock formations, sculpted over tens of millions of years.
It was like witnessing Jeju's geological history unfold before my eyes, a natural masterpiece that made me pause and deeply appreciate the raw beauty of nature.
This is especially a favorite among parents, so I highly recommend including it in your travel itinerary!

Next up is the stunning Sagye Coast.
It's one of my absolute favorite beaches in Seogwipo, with unique geological formations that reminded me a bit of Taiwan's Yehliu Geopark.
This spot allows you to admire both intriguing terrain and the beautiful ocean. With Sanbangsan Mountain and charming cafes nearby, it's a must-add to any Seogwipo itinerary!

To beat the summer heat this year, make a stop at the naturally formed Cheonjeyeon Waterfall.
Cheonjeyeon means 'Pond of the Emperor of Heaven,' and here you can explore three stunning waterfalls along a picturesque walking trail!
With its vibrant emerald waters and lush forest surroundings, it's an ideal spot for capturing those perfect Instagram-worthy photos.
2. Craving Thrilling Activities?
Seongeup Land, Glass-Bottom Boat Tour
📍 Glass-Bottom Boat
1st Floor, 8 Hwasunhaean-ro 106beon-gil, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do
📍 Seongeup Land
2650 Beonyeong-ro, Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do

If you're looking for some exhilarating activities, head over to Seongeup Land.
Here, you can enjoy fast and thrilling karting, unique horseback riding experiences only available in Jeju, and exciting ATV off-road adventures!
As you can see in the photo above, we had a blast taking pictures at various photo zones dressed in character costumes. Riding karts dressed as Mario was an incredibly thrilling activity!

The next place I'd like to recommend is the Glass-Bottom Boat Tour.
I personally thought this would be an amazing experience for parents, kids, or even nieces and nephews!
Feeling the cool breeze, we got to see Jeju's sights from a perspective you can't get by car, all while cruising on a boat. The glass bottom allowed us to directly observe marine life, making it a truly delightful experience for the kids.

3. Restaurants & Cafes

If you follow my advice and visit Saryeoni Forest Path, it's a great idea to stop by Samdaon Restaurant nearby for some excellent value grilled fish, Mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), and braised hairtail before heading to Seogwipo.
The clean and tidy atmosphere makes it a favorite among parents, so be sure to save it for your visit!

Cafe The Contena was a hit with the kids, offering a fun tangerine picking experience and various photo zones.

If you're visiting Sagye Coast, Viewst is an excellent choice, offering stunning views of Sanbangsan Mountain behind you and Sagye Coast stretching out in front.

Are you planning to visit Olle Market?!
Then you absolutely must try the juicy black pork at Black Pork BBQ, a restaurant I highly recommend!
This is one of the BBQ spots I strongly recommend to all my friends!
(Super delicious!)

After a satisfying meal, take a 5-minute stroll to explore Olle Market, grab some snacks, and pick up souvenirs.
Then, as evening falls, cap off your day at Jeju Yaksuhter, a unique spot for craft beer, perfect for winding down your travel adventures!
