Jeju Seogwipian Bakery

Jeju Seogwipian Bakery is in a fantastic location if you're planning a trip to the Seongsan area, as both Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak and Seopjikoji are less than a 10-minute drive away.
We actually headed to Seogwipian Bakery
after visiting Seopjikoji because we were craving some coffee!

Jeju Seogwipian Bakery can be utilized with the Jeju Tour Pass,
but there are a few conditions.
① Orders only accepted until 6 PM
② Adults receive a free drip coffee, while teenagers/children get a free peach iced tea
③ ~$2 discount when changing menu items
* Applies to drinks only

Honestly, most people drink coffee before evening anyway,
and cafes offering benefits with the Jeju Pass
usually have similar conditions, so it didn't feel like a big restriction.
Our family of four all decided to switch our drinks,
and as a result, we saved a whopping ~$8!

Using the pass is simple:
just go to the counter, mention you'll be using the Jeju Pass,
choose your menu items, and then show your pass barcode.
Keep in mind that each location can be used once!
Seongsan Cafe with Amazing Ocean Views
Seogwipian Bakery

Even with the benefits of the pass,
I'm usually hesitant to visit a cafe with a poor atmosphere when I'm traveling.
However, Seogwipian Bakery is such a view-lover's paradise that I'd wholeheartedly recommend it even if you weren't using the pass and were just looking for an ocean-view cafe.

The cafe is located right next to Sinyang Seopji Beach,
and the views from the parking lot itself are absolutely breathtaking!
There were even other groups taking photos while we were parking.
It was a hot day, but we spent a good while just snapping pictures in the parking lot : )

Seogwipian Bakery spans three floors, and every single floor offers an ocean view.
What's more, the cafe is quite wide horizontally,
which means there are plenty of seats by the window where you can enjoy the ocean view!

The cafe's interior, too, is decorated with a green, resort-like mood that perfectly matches the Jeju ocean visible through the windows,
making you truly feel like you've arrived at the seaside.
Jeju Seogwipian Bakery
Menu & Review

Generally, Seogwipian Bakery offers a wide variety of drinks.
From Seogwipian's signature drip coffee,
to the peanut cream latte, Seogwipenut,
the Cheongborian topped with Jeju-grown barley cream,
Jeju Green Tangerine Ade, and even Matcha Latte,
there were many menu items that truly captured the essence of Jeju.

It's also a great place to visit with kids,
because they even have Pororo drinks that little ones will love : )
Baby chairs are also well-provided.

The menu items our family ordered were
Seogwipenut / Cheongborian / Low-Sugar Peach Iced Tea / Le Benefique Lavender.
Among these, the one I'd most recommend is the Cheongborian!
While the Seogwipenut was tasty, it was quite sweet and a bit heavy for my palate,
so personally, the Cheongborian was more to my liking : )

The variety of breads at Seogwipian is so extensive it's hard to list them all individually;
from classic ciabattas, salt breads, and bagels,
to croissants piled high with fruit and beautifully decorated cakes,
you can pretty much assume they have every type of bakery item imaginable.
Unfortunately, we had already eaten a big meal,
so we had to skip the bakery items.

Most breads are baked in the morning,
but the baking times vary by type,
so if you're planning an early morning visit, keep that in mind!

Jeju Seogwipian Bakery is a place I discovered thanks to the Jeju Tour Pass.
It was great to get a discount with the Jeju Pass,
but even without it, I felt like it was absolutely worth visiting.
Especially for those looking for a Seongsan bakery cafe with a beautiful ocean view,
where you can endlessly admire the beautiful Jeju sea,
I highly recommend checking out Jeju Seogwipian Bakery!
