Today, I'm taking you to one of Hongdae's hottest spots,
an absolute must-visit on any stationery and souvenir shop tour!
Let me introduce you to KT&G Sangsangmadang in Hongdae.
01 Hongdae Sangsangmadang: The Basics

📍 KT&G Sangsangmadang
65 Eoulmadang-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul (Sangsangmadang Building)
Sangsangmadang Hongdae is a multi-cultural arts complex
where you can experience everything from movies, performances, and exhibitions
to educational programs, design,
and a variety of interactive events.

Among these, the 1st and 2nd floors
are packed with adorable characters and unique merchandise,
making it an absolute must-visit pop-up store destination!

Because let's face it—there are just too many cute things to handle!
Let me show you some of the character goods
in more detail below!
02 Character Shops at Sangsangmadang Hongdae

📍 Sanrio
The 1st floor of Sangsangmadang is filled with
various character merchandise that is so much fun to browse.
First up, a quick snap of the super trendy Sanrio characters! 📸

📍 Miffy
They also have adorable Miffy products!
Everything is neatly organized by character in different zones,
which makes browsing super easy and enjoyable.
If you have a favorite character,
I highly recommend paying a visit!

📍 Snoopy
My absolute favorite character, Snoopy!
I wish they had even larger Snoopy characters
displayed on the walls,
but they were still incredibly cute nonetheless.

📍 Anpanman

📍 SpongeBob
The SpongeBob items were styled like those trendy
disposable film cameras, making them even more tempting!
And since they were actually on sale,
the urge to buy was real!

📍 Loopy
Snapped a picture of the super-trendy Zanmang Loopy too!

📍 Kwaktori
The Kwaktori items were absolutely adorable!
I was especially tempted to grab one of those cute coin purses.

📍 Wiggle Wiggle
Had to get a shot of the Wiggle Wiggle items.
Since Wiggle Wiggle didn't have any items on sale,
they felt a bit pricier than I expected.

📍 Shin-chan
There were so many unique and new Shin-chan character goods!
From Action Mask beer mugs to film cameras
and even glasses stands!

📍 Winnie-the-Pooh

📍 Hamtaro
Besides those, there were adorable Winnie-the-Pooh, Hamtaro, and other character items
organized by zones,
making it so much fun to browse around!

📍 Stamps
They might not be specific characters,
but let me share some other must-have items I spotted!
These mini stamps are super handy for journaling,
and I use them all the time!
They're compact and pre-inked,
making them so easy and convenient to use.

📍 Keyrings & Plushies
Super cute keyrings and plushies that make perfect gifts!
They look adorable hanging on your own bag,
but they also make the best gifts that everyone absolutely loves.

📍 Stationery
From the classic praise stamp boards we used to collect as kids
to hilarious praise charms!

I saw these cool stickers,
so I couldn't resist snagging a "New Driver" sticker for myself.

📍 Passport Holders
There were so many prettier ones,
but this is the only picture I managed to snap!

📍 Stickers & Mini Postcards
If you stock up on these, they're perfect for
writing quick, heartfelt notes to accompany gifts!

As you lose track of time browsing all the cool stuff,
your tour of the famous Sangsangmadang—a true Hongdae hotspot—comes to a wrap!
I only popped into this indoor Hongdae spot to escape the rain,
but there was so much to see and explore
that I ended up hanging out here for ages!
If you're wondering what to do in Hongdae,
how about checking this place out?
