a detailed look at the Masseria's restaurant dinner course

and breakfast!

When choosing your perfect getaway, you know how crucial the view, pool,

and delicious meals are, right?

Well, let me just say, Masseria Panareo truly spoiled

both my taste buds and my eyes throughout my entire stay.

Amenities ① | The Outdoor Pool: Surprisingly Deep!

The true charm of Masseria Panareo lay in its

fantastic outdoor pool and incredible food!

Nestled in one corner of the garden, the pool offered

truly magnificent views of the blue sky and lush green olive trees.

The sunset here is particularly breathtaking.

✅ Pool Features

The pool's depth varied from shallow sections to

quite deep areas.

Perhaps it's designed for guests who love to dive? ..

With deep sections where your feet won't touch the bottom,

it's absolutely perfect for anyone

who loves to get in a proper swim.

What's more, it was exceptionally well-maintained and clean,

making it a joy to use.

✅ Tips for Your Swim

The pool hours are from 10 AM to 8 PM.

The pool tends to be wonderfully quiet at all times.

Imagine finishing a day of exploring the nearby coastline,

returning, and then lounging on a sunbed around sunset,

enjoying the cool breeze

before taking a refreshing dip. It sounds absolutely perfect!

Since our trip was so focused on exploring Southern Italy,

we barely had time to truly enjoy the pool,

which was such a shame! Hahaha.

But we did manage to squeeze in one swim right at the end.

Restaurant ② | Exceptional Dinner Course (Highly Recommended!)

Since the Masseria is a bit secluded, we decided to try

the dinner course at the on-site restaurant.

It's super convenient – you can just make your dinner reservation when you have breakfast that morning! Haha.

They lovingly prepare each dish using fresh, local ingredients,

and everything from the pasta to the main courses

was truly beyond delicious – far exceeding our expectations!

Especially when we visited in August, the figs were

incredibly sweet and delicious!

Honestly, I didn't have super high expectations

since it was a hotel restaurant,

but dinner on the outdoor terrace was absolutely divine.

The sunset created such a beautiful view,

the setting was romantic, and the food tasted fantastic –

it was truly satisfying.

When we went, there were quite a few older guests,

which made for a wonderfully quiet dining atmosphere.

The soft background music perfectly complemented the ambiance,

making it even better.

Being able to savor a leisurely meal with a glass of Southern Italian wine right at the accommodation,

without any driving worries,

truly feels like the biggest charm of staying at a Masseria.

The Puglia region is famous for its rosé wine,

and the one they recommended paired wonderfully with the food and

was perfectly to my taste

as an Italian wine lover.

Restaurant ③ | Neat & Fresh Breakfast

Most booking options include breakfast,

so if you stay here,

you're in for a delicious breakfast experience! Haha

Breakfast in the morning could also

be enjoyed in the lovely outdoor terrace setting.

From freshly baked croissants and sweet pastries,

to fresh cheese, ham, and coffee – everything was perfectly balanced and

utterly delicious. It was the perfect way to start the morning feeling happy and satisfied.

Price Comparison & Booking Tips

Masseria accommodations don't have as many rooms

as large resorts, so they tend to book up quickly during peak season.

Since the dining (breakfast/dinner) receives such excellent reviews,

I highly recommend choosing a breakfast-included option when booking!

(Breakfast is usually included anyway).

Based on my current research,

Booking.com seems to be the most affordable option! :)

When I travel in Europe,

Booking.com is my go-to. They have a great selection of B&Bs,

a user-friendly interface,

and it's easy to manage payments, which is why I use it the most.

You can just book through your preferred platform.
