Ostuni B&B Recommendation!
'Le Pietre Apartments' - A 100-Point Oasis of Comfort! Honest Review
ⓒ Text & Photos by Ttakkugi 2026
Hello there! This is Ttakkugi 🤍
Today, I want to introduce you to an absolutely wonderful place I stayed for a day in
Ostuni, Southern Italy's beautiful white village with distant sea views!
It's 'Le Pietre Apartments'.

For those traveling by rental car, or
couples/friends looking for a comfortable and pristine place to stay,
I wholeheartedly recommend this spot!
I regretted only booking one night –
it's definitely the kind of place you'd want to stay for two or three nights, relaxing and unwinding.
The quality for the price was
truly exceptional, making it a highly satisfying stay.
(When I stayed, it was an incredible value at around ~$74 per night!)

When traveling through Italy by rental car, you often find yourself searching for parking spots while trying to avoid ZTLs (Limited Traffic Zones).
Perhaps because Ostuni is in the South, most areas offered parking and weren't ZTLs.
Since it's a B&B, there wasn't a private parking lot, so I was a little worried about where to park.
But when I asked before my stay,
the host thoughtfully provided detailed information about **free parking spaces nearby**,
making parking incredibly easy!

✔️ Pro Tip
The free parking spot they suggested was perfectly located for a walk to the accommodation.
The path from the parking to the apartment was easy to navigate even with luggage, making it ideal for rental car travelers.
✔️ Supermarket
When entering Ostuni, there's a large supermarket called Famila,
which seemed to be the biggest one everyone uses.
If you need to do some grocery shopping,
I highly recommend checking out this spot.
Check-in
Here, you won't meet the host directly, as check-in is done **self-service** style!
Many Airbnb and apartment accommodations in Europe are adopting this method these days.

📍 Check-in Process
After booking, you communicate with the host via WhatsApp.
Their replies were quick and explanations were friendly,
making for a smooth check-in without any hassle, even though it was contactless!
Carrying keys can be a subtle worry about losing them,
but here, the **door operates with a keypad code**,
which was incredibly convenient for going out.
Room Review
Our assigned room was on the second floor.
There's no elevator, so climbing the stairs with luggage was a bit of a workout 💦
Thankfully, a kind neighbor helped us with our bags,
which we really appreciated.

After that strenuous climb, opening the door to find such a pleasant and wonderful room made it all worthwhile!
✔️ Room Condition & Bedding
The room was absolutely beautiful and spotless!
The room quality for the price was genuinely outstanding.
The bedding was fresh and plush, making me feel like all my travel fatigue just melted away.

It definitely felt like the accommodation quality was much better for the price
compared to places right by the beach.
✔️ Thoughtfulness
I was worried because the previous accommodation didn't have screens,
but here, the windows had very sturdy and well-installed insect screens,
so it was great to keep the windows open for ventilation!
A truly touching detail

✔️ Bathroom & Shower, Bathtub

I loved that the sink didn't splash water everywhere.
The shower also had a separate caddy for shampoo, etc.,
which was convenient.
The water pressure was good, and the drainage was excellent.
It was pleasant and great.
The bathtub is truly enormous.
It just so happened that we were incredibly tired that day,
so we barely got to use the tub, but
it was really spacious and lovely.
✔️Drying Rack

There's a heated drying rack.
If you have wet clothes, they dry incredibly fast.
Since it's a summer trip,
having a drying rack like this is a huge welcome!
✔️ Kitchen
Although the kitchen and table were compact,
they were perfectly sufficient for cooking simple meals or breakfast.
The stove had good heat, and the ventilation worked well.

There was nothing missing – plates, wine glasses, you name it!
The refrigerator was great too!
✔️ Terrace
There's also a small terrace, and
an Italian grandmother who occasionally came out to the house across the way
always greeted us kindly whenever we saw her,
which we really appreciated lol
"Buongiorno!"

🚨 One Minor Drawback
When you leave, if you remove the key card, the electricity in the room is completely cut off.
This means you can't leave power banks or cameras charging
when you go out. So, I recommend charging them in advance while you're in the room!

📍 Pro Tip for Paying City Tax
In Ostuni, there's an additional city tax of 2 euros per person.
Our host requested payment via WhatsApp through PayPal, but
we told them we didn't have PayPal.

Fortunately, they then
instructed us to leave the cash on the table when we checked out!
So, if you don't have PayPal, don't panic – just ask if you can pay in cash!
Price Comparison & Booking Tips
For weekdays in September,
it's around ~$74-$111 per night.
We used it during peak vacation season for around ~$148,
and we were still extremely satisfied.
Booking Platform | Price Range (per night) | Booking Link |
Booking.com | Around ~$118 | |
Agoda | Around ~$155 |

It was truly a perfect accommodation we didn't want to leave 😭
🌟 Ostuni Travel Pro Tips

While every nook and cranny of Ostuni is beautiful,
the sunset and night views are truly spectacular!

So, under the scorching midday sun,
take a nap in your comfortable accommodation
and fully recharge your energy!
Then, from late afternoon, slowly stroll out
and I highly recommend this itinerary to enjoy the magnificent sunset and night views!
In my next post,
I'll be back with an Ostuni alleyway walking tour
where the charm of Southern Italy truly explodes,
and my reviews of the best local eateries.
Look forward to it!
