My Review of Porary Book Cafe, Sinjeongnegeori

Stepping inside, the first things that catch your eye are the wall-to-wall bookshelves and the warm, inviting lighting. Porary is situated on the second floor, and I particularly loved that it has **many windows, allowing abundant natural light to stream in**, creating a bright and airy feel.

Many visitors were either engrossed in reading or working on their laptops, creating an **ideal atmosphere for concentration**. The seating includes cozy two-person tables with sofas further inside, as well as window seats. The window seats even have power outlets, making it super convenient for working or charging devices.

As a true **book cafe**, you're free to browse any book from the shelves and read it comfortably at your table.

They also have a curated list of recommended books and seem to host small book-related events, which is a lovely touch :)

The highlight for me was definitely this wall, showcasing a diverse selection of books organized by theme!

Porary offers a diverse menu, including their **specialty drinks** like Peanut Dulce, Pure Matcha Oat, and Orange Shake-Shake, alongside espresso, brewing coffee, and non-coffee beverages.

Though not on the main menu, the 제주 말차 마들렌 (Jeju Matcha Madeleines), 레몬 글리세 마들렌 (Lemon Glazed Madeleines), and 갈레트 브루통 (Galette Bretonnes) displayed in the showcase also looked incredibly tempting!

I was so satisfied that I visited again later for a solo work session and decided to try another of Porary's special menu items: the **Pure Matcha Oat** (~$5).

This drink was also delicious for me, with its strong matcha flavor and not being overly sweet! However, since it's oat-based, if you're not a fan of oat milk, you might find it a little mild.
