Living up to its name, BLUE CLOUD, the cafe's blue font sign stands out from afar, catching your eye.
Located right next to a scenic walking path along the valley, the exterior already gives off a refreshing, vibrant vibe.
Step inside, and you'll find a super chic and aesthetic interior, highlighted with white and blue accents.
From indoor seats with panoramic valley views through expansive windows to outdoor terrace seating where you can feel the natural breeze, there's a variety of spots to choose from.
There's even a retro arcade game machine in one corner of the cafe, making it a perfect spot for everyone, from kids to adults, to spend some fun time together.

Even though Cheongun Shimteo BLUE CLOUD is a tourist spot cafe, it's also a dessert hotspot, freshly baking small batches of pastries in-house every morning.
Their savory salt bread and signature drinks topped with sweet Cheongun cream are particularly popular.
Ordering is simple and convenient using the kiosk located inside the cafe.

We snagged a spot on the refreshing outdoor terrace that day. Usually, coffees at such popular tourist spots in the valley easily go for ~$5-6, but here, an Americano is a reasonable ~$4, which I really appreciated.
What's more, the cup size was generously large, and you could even choose your coffee beans! The coffee tasted fantastic, so much so that we each bought another one to-go on our way home.
Right in front of the cafe, the clear waters of Pocheon's Baekun Valley flow refreshingly along the walking path.
The water is so transparent and pristine that you can easily spot fish swimming around. We even saw some people enjoying catching fish!
No plans for water play? No problem! The cafe sells essentials like sunglasses, beach towels, and slippers.
During the summer season, they even have shower facilities! This means you can come just for a scenic drive and spontaneously enjoy a refreshing dip in the valley.
In one corner of the cafe, there's an instant Han River ramen machine. Everyone knows how incredibly delicious ramen tastes after a refreshing dip in the cool valley water, right?

Cheongun Shelter BLUE CLOUD operates on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 7 PM, with the last order at 6 PM. It is regularly closed from Monday to Friday every week.
There is ample dedicated parking available in front of the cafe and across the street. If the parking lot is full during peak weekend hours, you can use the Baegun Valley National Tourist Site parking lot nearby.
We sell water play items such as sunglasses, beach towels, and slippers inside the cafe. During the summer season, shower facilities are also fully equipped, making spontaneous valley swimming possible.
