During my recent trip to Jeju,
I visited a place where all the bread lovers pilgrimage on Jeju Island,
which is called **Pickup Cafe Haengwon Branch**.
For those of you looking for a **trendy cafe near Conan Beach or Gimnyeong Beach**,
I've brought back some helpful information! 🧁 ྀི₊˚⊹

While **Pickup Cafe Haengwon Branch** is located near Gimnyeong Beach,
it's actually right next to 'Conan Beach'!
Water activities at Conan Beach → Arrive at Pickup Cafe Haengwon Branch (within a 4-minute walk) → Order and pick up → Enjoy your salt bread with an ocean view!
These days, a lot of people are enjoying water activities at Conan Beach,
so this itinerary would be perfect for a fun time! 👍
For parking, when you arrive near the Pickup Cafe, you'll find a large open lot,
where you can park freely.
Walking from **Gimnyeong Beach** is quite a distance,
(it takes over an hour on foot, seriously! ㄷㄷ)
but it only takes about **8 minutes by car**, so
for travelers getting around by car,
it's still conveniently close to Gimnyeong Beach.
Pickup Cafe uses **Lescure Charentes-Poitou AOP Butter**.
Lescure Charentes-Poitou AOP Butter
AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée) is
a label granted by the French government after strict evaluation of origin, traditional manufacturing methods, raw milk quality, and more.
In other words, it means 'premium, high-quality French butter with guaranteed excellence'!
What's more, its excellent flavor and aroma mean that when used in baking or desserts,
it delivers a **smooth and sophisticated taste without any unpleasant aftertaste**.
The counter somehow gives off an old-school, international vibe...?!
I snapped a picture because the colors were so pretty – it's both hip and cute!
And don't worry about where to eat your freshly picked-up bread.
There's **Camel Coffee right next door**,
so you can enjoy your delicious bread there after your purchase.

When you visit Pickup Cafe,
you absolutely cannot miss the **salt breads made with Jeju's local specialties**!
Before I introduce the menu, let me give you a taste review:
Even when I ate them the next day at my accommodation after purchasing,
the chewy and savory taste was still superb!
However, the Mentaiko Mayo Salt Bread was a bit too salty for my taste,
and the Apple Jambon Sandwich had a little too much butter.
It would have been more delicious with a bit less butter,
even though it was good butter, it felt a little too rich and heavy...🤔
From the **Lescure Salt Bread to the signature Mentaiko Mayo Salt Bread,**
**Gujwa Carrot Salt Bread, Jeju Shiitake Mushroom Sandwich,**
**Apple Jambon Sandwich, Ham Cheese Arugula Sandwich,** and more,
Even I, an **'anti-bread-lover'** (literally, 'not a bread-lover'... haha), was made curious by
the many unique and intriguing menu items!
Mammoth Bread - Its plump, generous look instantly caught my eye, haha!
From Udo Peanut Mammoth Bread and Omegitteok (Jeju traditional rice cake) to even Dubai Mammoth Bread,
it was fascinating to see such a wide variety of Mammoth Breads!
And then there were these absolutely adorable Chubby Bagels!
When we got there, they were already pretty much sold out, though! 😂
I was so curious about the Yellow Cheese Bodo Chubby Bagel, but it was gone—such a bummer...!
With options like Peach Yogurt, Melon Yogurt, Blueberry Yogurt, Mango Yogurt, Choco Dubai, and Chodang Corn Chubby Bagels, and more!
It's incredible how many varieties of Chubby Bagels they have, haha!
We'd already grabbed so many salt breads, so we passed on the Chubby Bagels this time,
but looking at these photos, I'm incredibly curious about how they taste...!
Next time I visit, I definitely have to try those Chubby Bagels!
And then there's the super hot and trendy Wakppu Ball-style

As soon as I saw them, they were so cute I practically screamed 😭
Their look just makes you want to squish them, seriously... so adorable!
The crispy texture on the outside and the moist, buttery aroma on the inside
made for a truly trendy and delightful specialty.
The Pickup Cafe Haengwon Branch
boasted short takeout pickup times of only about 10-15 minutes,
making it the perfect spot to pop in without disrupting your itinerary.
While I loved the abundance of trendy and visually delightful menu items,
I did wonder if it'd be *really* worth a super long wait, haha.
But if you're *truly* curious about the flavors, it's definitely a good place to visit and try something.
It's popular, so it's probably *just* about right for a must-visit spot in Jeju, if you know what I mean?!
