Well, I'm the one who pulls off that difficult feat every single year.
This time, I traveled with my dad, sister, and nephew
to **Jeju Island**.
For those of you looking for a **kid-friendly hotel in Jeju, I wholeheartedly recommend**

Phoenix Island is a resort
located in Seopjikoji, **close to Jeju's Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak)**,
which means it boasts fantastic ocean views and great access to tourist attractions.

The **Kids Play Lounge** was actually
one of the **biggest reasons I chose this accommodation.**
It's incredibly well-equipped with **slides, a ball pit, a trampoline, LEGOs, a kids' library area, and more**, offering
a variety of playthings, activity zones, and even relaxation areas.
So whether your child prefers **quiet activities or is super energetic**,
it's a place where everyone can have a blast. Even little ones around 1 year old had a great time!
My nephew carefully climbed the hills
and excitedly slid down the slides.
He bounced around on the trampoline, then dove into the ball pit –
it was great to see him full of energy and enjoying Jeju!
Watching him have such a blast,
I realized it would have been a huge mistake if we hadn't come! 🤣
Yomi also loves activities where he can sit and play.
Even after running around energetically, he could focus and
calmly immerse himself in activities, thanks to
**various experiential programs available.**
He even made friends with other kids and played together! 😊
After dinner, there's a special event called **Night Kids Time**,
where the **space is filled with laser beams and aurora lights.**

It was wonderful because this program allows children to **experience a variety of sensory delights.**
Yomi was absolutely thrilled, completely mesmerized by the magic!

Most of the play facilities were clean and
well-maintained, which made our experience even more satisfying.
The accommodation was close to the Kids Lounge,
making it convenient for playing with the child in the mornings and evenings.
Room Conditions

For our group of 3 adults and 1 child,
I chose a 34 pyeong (approx. 1,200 sq ft) 2-room unit,
with a double bed room + Ondol room + 1 extra bedding set.
My dad stayed in the double bed room, my sister and nephew in the Ondol room,
and I added an extra comforter and slept in the living room. The space was so generous that
it could comfortably accommodate two people.
For children under 8, who might roll off a bed,
the Ondol room was safe and comfortable.
Also, each room had its own bathroom, which was great for
traveling with parents as everyone could use it without inconvenience.
The boiler also allowed for self-temperature control in each room,
so we slept very warmly.
The best part was that the living room was so spacious, we could easily spread out two suitcases,
and Yomi had plenty of space to run around, which was incredibly satisfying.
Personally, rather than the formal atmosphere of a hotel,
it felt warm and welcoming, just like 'my own home,'
so I thought it was perfect for traveling with my parents.
My dad finds modern hotels uncomfortable and
actually prefers resort-style rooms with spacious rooms and bathrooms.
With 54 pyeong (approx. 1,900 sq ft) and 3-room options available,
I also recommend it for those considering accommodation for a large family trip.
Sauna

After dinner, we all enjoyed the sauna.
The locker rooms and vanity area were spacious,
making it easy to dress the child and dry their hair.
There were three baths with different temperatures, which was convenient to use,
and the interior was quite spacious.
The steam/sauna rooms weren't stuffy, so they were great for relieving fatigue!
My dad was also very satisfied, saying it was great to even have a bath while on a trip, haha.
I opted for the Kids Play Lounge + Sauna + Swimming Pool package
About My Booking!
Even if you're not traveling with kids,
the sauna and swimming pool facilities are so great that
I highly recommend booking a package deal!
Even if you don't book a package, you can still use the sauna separately
by paying the guest rate!
Based on my experience,
the quality is good enough that it's worth paying the separate fee.

Another fantastic feature of Phoenix Island is definitely the swimming pool.
Thanks to the heated pools, you can enjoy them regardless of the season,
and the snack bar is really well-equipped, making it a great spot for kids to have fun.
Plus, with the pool and sauna conveniently close,
it’s a perfect layout for both adults and children to relax together.
I had other plans in Jeju,
so unfortunately, I couldn't use the pool this time,
but next time, I absolutely want to soak in the outdoor pool during sunset!!! 😎
Breakfast Restaurant

I paid the additional daily fee for breakfast,
and honestly, I would have seriously regretted missing out on how satisfying the food was!
Even my dad kept saying how delicious it was and ate so well.
Phoenix Island's breakfast buffet offered a wide array of options, from breads, egg dishes, salads, and fruits,
to both Korean and Western cuisine, so
there was a huge variety to choose from.
In particular, the combination of freshly baked bread, made-to-order omelets, and smoked salmon was absolutely delicious!
Both parents and children could pick out their favorite dishes,
making it a satisfying meal for everyone right from the morning.
If you're planning a stay, I definitely recommend the breakfast!

Rooms are categorized into 34-pyeong or 54-pyeong types, and you can choose between 2-room or 3-room, Ondol (Korean heated floor) or twin beds, and ocean view options. The standard occupancy is 4 people, with a maximum capacity of 6 people.
The sauna is located on the 1st floor of Building A and operates from 13:00 to 21:00. Maintenance hours are from 15:00 to 19:00. Facilities include hot baths, warm baths, cold baths, wet saunas, and dry saunas.
