Park Hyatt Seoul Review 2026: Premium Twin Room & Afternoon Tea
Experience unparalleled urban luxury at Park Hyatt Seoul, perfectly situated next to COEX. Our 2026 review highlights the spacious Premium Twin Room, breathtaking city views, and an exquisite afternoon tea.

Welcome to our review of a luxurious staycation at the Park Hyatt Seoul, perfectly situated right in front of Samseong Station and adjacent to the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center.
While it may not boast the sheer scale of the Grand Hyatt on Namsan, this 5-star hotel masterfully delivers an experience of sophisticated urban luxury that truly impressed us.

The Park Hyatt stands as one of the most exclusive luxury brands within the esteemed Hyatt group.
With only about 10 guest rooms per floor, it offers a remarkably private and tranquil atmosphere. Even the standard rooms are incredibly spacious, measuring approximately 560 square feet, making it an ideal choice for a luxurious Seoul staycation hotel!
For our group of three, we opted for the Twin Bed Premium Room, which, conveniently, is priced the same as the King Bed Premium Room.

The elegant lobby of Park Hyatt Seoul is located on the 24th floor, with The Lounge conveniently situated right next to it.
We visited to celebrate a friend's birthday, so we arrived a little early to indulge in a delightful afternoon tea at The Lounge before checking in.

The Lounge Afternoon Tea

The Lounge at Park Hyatt Seoul offers different afternoon tea menus for weekdays and weekends.
The price is the same at ~$50 per person, but on weekdays, it's served as an Afternoon Tea Set, while weekends feature an Afternoon Tea Buffet.

Operating hours also vary slightly: weekdays from 2 PM to 5 PM, and weekends from 2 PM to 5:30 PM.
Without a doubt, the weekday Afternoon Tea Set offers better value for money.😉
While the weekend menu focuses solely on desserts, the weekday set includes delectable savory items like jambon-beurre sandwiches and lobster tarts.
For ladies, it can easily serve as a satisfying light brunch!

Keep in mind that the Afternoon Tea Set's offerings change seasonally, so it's a good idea to check the current menu before your visit!
Since we visited on a weekday, we were able to enjoy a delightful array of desserts and savory dishes with our afternoon tea before checking into our room.

After our enjoyable afternoon tea, we leisurely checked into our room.
The moment we stepped in, the expansive city views through the floor-to-ceiling windows and the abundance of natural light immediately put us in a wonderful mood – what a fantastic first impression!

Right by the entrance, there's a large full-length mirror.
With all that natural light, it's perfect for snapping some stylish mirror selfies!

To the right of the mirror, you'll find the bathroom and powder room, a space I absolutely adored!
The granite walls and the bathtub, from which you can gaze down at the city skyline, were simply divine.😌

Of course, even on a high floor, the building across the street is quite direct, so bathing during the day might feel a bit exposed. However, in the evening, you can slightly open the blinds and enjoy a relaxing bath with the stunning night view.
(We actually did this at night!)

For our group of three, we appreciated that there was still plenty of room even after adding an extra bed.
The room features a recliner, a round table, and two chairs.
We moved the table closer to the window to enjoy the scenery together, making it perfect for three.

We enjoyed our dinner with stunning views of Gangnam's city lights ✨
For dinner, we ordered wood-fired pizza, fresh pasta, and arancini to the room.

Later in the evening, we had fun playing board games we brought along.

To wrap up the day, we drew a bath and enjoyed a leisurely half-body soak while admiring the night view.
Submerging ourselves in the tub and slightly opening the blinds to take in Seoul's nightscape was truly wonderful. 😌
Because we spent time enjoying afternoon tea and then relaxing and dining in our room, time flew by, and we didn't get to use other hotel facilities. We later found out that the Park Hyatt pool is also famously beautiful, which was a shame. 🥲
However, that just goes to show how satisfying our staycation was, even simply by staying in the room!
The spaciousness, in particular, makes it a perfect recommendation for anyone seeking a stylish hotel for three people in Seoul.
