A Truly Wonderful Experience from My Jeju Trip:

My dad, husband, sister, and I went as a group of four. When I made the reservation, I initially thought it might be a bit pricey. But since I'm someone who genuinely enjoys a good cup of tea, I found the experience incredibly satisfying in the end!

Highly recommend for anyone like me who loves drinking tea but maybe doesn't know much about it!

O'sulloc Tea Museum, Korea's first tea museum.

Step outside, and you'll find expansive green tea fields stretching as far as the eye can see. Inside, a world of O'sulloc's diverse teas and delectable desserts awaits!

Inside the O'sulloc Tea Museum, there's a special space called Teastone, and this is exactly where the O'sulloc Tea Museum Premium Tea Course takes place.

It's designed with Jeju's unique Gotjawal Forest as its stunning backdrop, and here's a little secret: only those who have booked the Premium Tea Course are granted access to this special space!

The Premium Tea Course follows the curriculum outlined below. From the 'Chusa and Jeju Story' segment onwards, the experience unfolds inside Teastone, and each session offers a delightful array of different teas and desserts!

Premium Tea Course Experience Review

The Premium Tea Course kicks off right in the main lobby. As you await the start, a friendly guide will approach to distribute personal audio receivers.

You'll easily spot the information panel directing you to the tea course, so finding your way won't be a problem at all.

The first course is the Garden Tour!

You won't be venturing deep into the green tea fields just yet. Instead, think of it as a delightful stroll towards Teastone, where your guide will share fascinating snippets about O'sulloc's green tea fields and the enchanting island of Jeju.

Once you arrive at Teastone, you'll be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. After a brief wait, you'll step into the immersive Teastone inner experience space, ready for what's next!

With glass walls all around offering expansive views and surrounded by trees,

it felt like stepping into a tranquil forest.

You're free to choose your seat : )

The first session was all about **Chusa and the stories of Jeju!**

You might be wondering why Chusa Kim Jeong-hui suddenly appears. It's because he's one of Korea's most representative 'dains' (tea connoisseurs).

It's said that he even enjoyed **the tea ceremony during his exile on Jeju Island**.

After soaking in these fascinating stories, you get to **brew Sejak tea yourself using traditional tea ware.**

I even have tea ware at home, but I never knew what was what.

Thanks to **learning the purpose and order here**, I sometimes try it out at home just as I learned : )

The **Omegi Tteok** that came with the tea was traditionally made only with millet flour during times when food was scarce,

but it paired so incredibly well with the tea and was so delicious, I almost wanted to buy some right away!

Next up was the **Island of Splendid Gastronomy**!

This time, we got to **make tea like a cocktail**, and with an emerald syrup reminiscent of Jeju's stunning ocean,

it was not only delightful to look at but also wonderfully sweet and tasty : )

The desserts served alongside were:

**Oreum Mushroom Vol-au-vent, Jeju Green Tangerine Tartlet, and Hallasan Seaweed Financier.**

They were modern creations, beautifully infused with Jeju's unique characteristics.

The final session, **Jeju: Carbon-Free Island**, went by so quickly that I couldn't capture any photos,

but you can think of it as **a special gift time**.

We got to take home **Hallanamcha** that had been pan-fried right there on-site; it was a truly lovely souvenir!

After completing the Osulloc Premium Tea Course,

you'll be connected to the **Teastone Cellar**, located directly below Teastone.

I initially thought it would be just another souvenir shop,

but I was genuinely surprised to see tea actually aging inside different types of wooden barrels.

And the tea aged here **can only be purchased at this Teastone Cellar**.

Feeling like it would make a meaningful souvenir,

I bought the **Oak Barrel Aged Tea**, which had my favorite aroma!

Participants of the Premium Tea Course even get a **30% discount**.

Also, since there isn't a separate restroom inside Teastone and you have to go to the main building's facilities,

remember to **definitely use the restroom before the Premium Tea Course begins.**

During the tea course, desserts are continuously served,

and let me tell you, they're surprisingly filling, and you'll find yourself constantly sipping green tea.

So, **if you had brunch**, I recommend booking for 12 PM.

**If you had lunch at the usual time**, then 2 PM would be great.

And **if you're sensitive to caffeine**, the 10 AM reservation is highly recommended :)

The Jeju O'sulloc Tea Museum Premium Tea Course

was even more enjoyable than I expected!

My husband had actually tried it once before and

took us because he thought the family would love it,

and sure enough, our whole family had an absolutely wonderful time.

While it's a bit pricey, you get to eat, enjoy,

and learn so much. So if you're ever traveling to Jeju,

it's definitely worth trying at least once!
