Osulloc Tea House Bukchon Review 2026: Seoul Souvenirs & Tea Course
Step into the tranquil world of Osulloc Tea House Bukchon, nestled in Seoul's historic village. Find unique Korean tea gifts, savor a peaceful tea, or indulge in a premium tea course.

After a long time, I visited Bukchon, and
I needed to buy a gift for a friend,
so I decided to drop by
OSULLOC Tea House Bukchon! :)
How to Get to OSULLOC Tea House Bukchon

There was an announcement that the entrance to
OSULLOC Tea House Bukchon had changed.
You need to go past Sulwhasoo House
and walk a little further!
Due to the nature of the neighborhood, parking is not available,
so you'll need to use a public parking lot.

Once you pass the hanok stone wall of Sulwhasoo House,
you'll find an X-banner like this.

Just head up these stairs.

Outside, there are these
lovely terrace seats with a great ambiance,
but it was too cold, so no one was sitting there.

OSULLOC Tea House Bukchon: 1st Floor
Upon entering, you're first greeted by
the shop selling OSULLOC teas.

Natural light streams in through the floor-to-ceiling windows,
making OSULLOC Tea House Bukchon a truly delightful place.

There were special discounts
exclusive to OSULLOC Tea House Bukchon,

and even tea tastings like this!
I tried the premium matcha, and
its rich and deep aroma was fantastic!

There was a wide variety of gift sets,
making it super easy to find the perfect present.

They also had unique products like green tea waffles and green tea almond balls,
which you don't easily find elsewhere.

As I looked around for a gift for my friend,
I spotted a Tea Variation Set that was on discount,
so I grabbed that one!
Price: ~$26 > ~$22

And guess what?
It was even more affordable than the prices on O'Sulloc's official Naver store!

Just as I finished paying and was about to head out,
I discovered another entrance/exit on a different side from where I initially came in!

You can actually exit through the other side,
which is conveniently connected to the Sulwhasoo House!

So, I popped back inside to explore the other floors.
The Bukchon O'Sulloc Tea House has a rather unique layout:
the spot where you first enter is actually the 1st floor, known as "The Room of Tea Scent."
From there, you'll need to take the elevator or stairs
to head up to the 2nd and 3rd floors.

Since I had walked up quite a few stairs when I first arrived,
I admit, I was a bit confused about which floor I was on at first!
O'Sulloc Tea House Bukchon: Second Floor

As soon as you ascend to the second floor, an expansive courtyard view unfurls before you,
and beyond that, you'll find charming outdoor terrace seating.
It looks like it would be incredibly popular on a beautiful day,
but since it was quite chilly,
I only spotted one couple of foreign tourists brave enough to sit out there.

However, the indoor area specially prepared on the left was almost entirely full!

According to the information, there are 88 seats on the second floor and 84 seats on the third floor.
However, since that count includes the terrace seating,
it feels like the indoor seating is probably only about half that number. 😅

You can place your tea orders in the area to the right,
but this spot was also completely full.
So, if you're planning to enjoy some tea in the O'Sulloc Lounge,
I highly recommend securing your seats first before ordering!

O'Sulloc Tea House Bukchon: Third Floor

Next, I ventured up to the third floor.

From this vantage point, you can truly appreciate just how spacious the outdoor seating is!

This area on the third floor truly felt like the perfect spot,
but when I visited, there was a group of guests enjoying themselves, so I just took a quick peek and headed out.

To the right, there was Bar O’sulloc,
where you can visit without a reservation,
but Catchtable reservations are also available.

Perhaps because Bar O’sulloc's prices are a bit on the higher side,
the ambiance was absolutely wonderful,
but it was quite empty here.🤣

True to its name, Bar O'sulloc
offered not only tea courses,
but also a tea cocktail menu.

O'sulloc Bukchon Tea Course ~$28
Masters Matcha Set ~$11
Various non-alcoholic tea cocktails ~$12

But a matcha madeleine might still be worth trying, right?
~$3

I had another plan that day,
so I didn't get to enjoy any tea.
But next time, I think the Masters Matcha Set or
a tea cocktail would be
definitely worth coming back for!

Overall, it's a fantastic spot to relax with a cup of tea in a tranquil atmosphere,
or pick up some of O'sulloc's signature products as gifts.
I'm particularly curious about Bar O'sulloc,
so I plan to visit with friends if I get the chance next time!
